I may not always get bored while dueling, but when I do, I spam Card-Car D with Geargiganto X

Discuss.

I wish konami would make more of these "balanced but still playable" cards and not stupid things like "Hieratic _____".

This is like one of the best cards right now though. So good.

Whoever decided this should be bumped to Secret Rare should get raped with a cactus while getting his skin torn of with a paperclip and getting his brains burned out with acid.
why do yo think that?
Many people i know say this'll get bumped to Secret because of the hype. others i know don't want this to be Secret because they they know if it is a Secret it'll become a money card

*face-palms* Because a +1 that only costs a Battle Phase is completely balanced.
It not only costs the battle phase, but the rest of the turn, Special Summons, and your once per turn Normal Summon. You draw 2 cards then end the turn so there's nothing you can do with them unless they're hand traps.

First off, why would you need your Second Main Phase is you're in the middle of your first?

Second, Once you're moderately through the set-up stage for any of the competitive decks this format, summoning at all is rendered somewhat pointless, so mid-to-late game this card won't suffer from its condition too badly. The drawing at the end of turn really isn't as bad as one would think, as it frees you to use more of the cards you already had in your hand without as much concern for your hand advantage.

In summary, even with all the conditions set on it, Pot of Greed at 3 is still not a good idea.

Nah, I'd need the name of the guy who came up with the idea.

If you've already set up and you aren't close to winning there really isn't much of a chance to win any more. And idk how you plan to use a bunch of cards in your hand unless you have Ultimate Offering on the field or are playing massive draw engine.dek

You know, I have this great deal on a little treatment that may fix your problem for the low, low price of half your lifespan.

I'd have to see the guy first and recognize him as Konami's marketing dude.

OT: It needs the Normal Summon only clause because Call would get ridiculous. Disk Commander shenanigans.

Think of it like Royal Oppression. Once you have your set-up, it lets you draw into cards that reduce the number of outs your opponent has to your plays.

Why would you run more than 1 of these in Exodia? You need to use that Normal Summon on either Librarian or Monk, and you can't use it's effect if it's Special Summoned. I guess if you were running the Destiny version of Exodia, it might work, but that version is by far the less consistant.

Exodia's draw engine includes mass discards and it can be hard to draw into monk or Library.
