~British Soul~
so...regarding the 2 different monsters thing... is it going to be: X x Archetype monsters 2 x other monsters OR X x Archetype monsters ? x Monster A ? x Monster B
-Doodle
Oh, wait. What about side deck? Can we put the usual hand traps in the side deck?
haven't thought of a side deck. I think it should be ruled the same there, not sure though. Any opinion on that? :\
Most important question: You say you can have any Spell/Trap lineup. Therefore, you can technically run: Final Countdown Deckout without monsters Magical Explosion FTK Trap Monsters amongst other things etc. Added a rule about that now Just get rid of this rule. Being able to make minor changes to your deck is absolutely stupid. That's what Side Decks are for. ok, I really wasn't sure on that one and it did seem like abit unnecessary. It's removed now. mfw tragoedia and gorz are both monster staples but are both more easily abused in verz and steelswarms. Therefore, should Verz and Steelswarm players be allowed to use the card even though it's a 'staple'? I thing gorz shouldnt be used. and how tragodia support verz\steelswarm? I think Gorz shouldnt be used. About tragodia, if it supports them somehow then i guess it's ok, but how does it support? And in regards to Extra Deck. Jurracs get the Dino Xyzs, therefore they are a large part ahead of the other decks. First turn Guaiba screws every deck. Unless the Verz player techs in 2 Sabersaurus and tons of Fossil Dig lol. the same way fableds get tour guide and ancient sacred wyvern, gusto may use QD synchron (Gusto Grif), Vylon and light archetypes get honest and maybe Lightrays if needed and Naturias and X-Sabers get Barkion and Beast... Rules on those? Oh, and Lavals will win because they're Tier 2 in the OCG, while none of the others top. lol. That's why I made the rule about not using the monster staples, maybe that will hurt them abit while it doesnt affect much on stuff like Gishkis or Maybe even Gusto or X-Sabers. Double Elimination is stupid, so use Single Elimination. Much more streamlined. Ok, it's the first tournament I ever started so I don't know which tournament style I should do it. But why should I change that? Neo-Flamvells should be merged with Flamvells, R-Genex & Genex Ally should be fused with normal Genex. As much as I'd say that Fableds will ruin the tournament, they should be merged with The Fableds too. I seperated these sub-archtypes becuase they have a bit different concept- Neo Flamvells banish cards from your opponent's graveyard, R-Genex have gadget-like effects (and they mostly search themselves rather than all the Genex Archetype), Genex Allies change attributes and The Fableds are beast-type unlike the Original Fableds which are fiend-type. But you can still use the archtype as a whole as long as you say so. (example: if you choose Genex- DT Archetype: Genex (the entire archtype) OR DT Archetype: Genex Ally\ R- Genex. (Edited OP) Also, mfw no xx-sabers. there is almost no difference between the XX-Sabers and the X-Sabers.

so...regarding the 2 different monsters thing... is it going to be: X x Archetype monsters 2 x other monsters OR X x Archetype monsters ? x Monster A ? x Monster B
I meant 2 Different (I think it is mentioned like that in the OP)- X x Archetype monsters 1-3 x Monster A 1-3 x Monster B

.Rai
X-Sabers have a really limited pool of cards without XX-Sabers really. But, probably, X-Sabers should keep to their X-Saber pool. Only because I've realised they'd be broken with XX-Sabers anyway. I'm pretty sure Lavals only use Laval monsters and Firedog anyway. Yeah, just ban Gorz. Tragoedia is a perfectly viable Verz and Steelswarm tech just because of tribute fodder and Xyz fodder (and much more easily abused compared to other decks) Double Elimination is generally a disliked playstyle. Most people enjoy Single Elimination better, and Swiss will take ages, so Single seems best choice. Dino Xyzs > Naturia Synchros > All the other bad stuff But, still, shouldn't be too much a problem there.
never knew about the XX-Sabers being out not on a DT but they still count as a part of the archetype. Do X-Sabers even worth something without the XX-Sabers? Becuase I meant you can use them in your deck with X-Sabers and that there's no point of using them seperately :S as far as I know, Lavals use Card Car D, Battle Fader and possibly other hand traps. No card is 'banned'. Certein cards (most of the hand traps) are forbbidened to use becuase they dont support directly any arcehtype. I dont need to name any, you should just know what cards are connected in some sort of way to the archtype and what cards are not. So if Gorz, or veiler, for example, don't contribute to the main concept of the archetype, they cannot be used (unless you can give me a reason to use it in your deck by following the rule). But Tour Guide or GA Birdman, support Fableds\Steelswarm\Verz and Mist Valley (respectively) and therefore they can be used in the said decks. Blake
Wait, you're actually separating sub archetypes? The hell? No, that's a terrible idea because they all still belong to that archetype with the same general goal. Fableds and The Fableds still aim toward discarding and Synchros, so why would they be separated? Same goes for the others. If they work together, separating them is stupid. Expelsword
Lavals, Fableds, Dragunity, and Sabers are the best of the field by so much that I'll be shocked if they aren't the top 4.
.Rai
Fableds are kinda inconsistent, but consistent enough to get top 8 at least. Lavals will nearly definitely have a place. Sabers definitely are near the top here. Dragunities are unlikely to top 4. Besides, Worms are cooler than Dragunities When your monster line-up isn't even 15 monsters, you have plenty of space for consistency.
