DARK
Rank 8
Machine/Xyz/Effect

ATK: 1500
DEF: 2500

Effect: Up to twice per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; destroy that target, and if that target was an Xyz Monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its original ATK

The stats aren't really that special, but the effect is actually pretty reasonable. It can destroy any Special Summoned monster, not just Xyz, but it only burns if it was an Xyz.

Being a Rank 8 does limit its splashability, but Dark Worlds can use it, and if you're trying to use Neo Galaxy, there's no reason why this isnt in your Extra Deck too.

STORY TIME!

So I'm facing a Rabbit Deck, and my opponent breaches my defense at last, putting me up against a Laggia w/ no Materials, a Sangan, and Acid Golem, all of them attacking and dropping me to 700. I Special Summon Tragoedia at the last Damage. I have Honest and LADD in hand.

I draw BLS and Summon it. Sure, I could attack and use Honest, and then attack again for game, but that's not nearly as much fun when he's controlling 2 Xyz Monsters whose ATK exceed his LP. I test the waters for Veiler by targeting Sangan.

Tragoedia copies Level 8, and I overlay for Giant Killer, using its effect twice to deal 5400 damage for game!

Any other good uses for this, other than lulzy tech to go alongside other Rank 8s?

Often overlooked, but actually a very good card. It has its niche in being able to activate its effect twice, and in this Xyz Heavy format, the decks that can bring this out will have a particularly useful side-ace for when things get messy, or your going for that extra push. It's got good typing with machine and DARK, and isan't limited to killing only Xyz Monsters (of course if thats what you were after, likely better to go Hieroglyphic King or Thunder End Dragon)

It's appearance in the anime was also badass to the extreme. It really helped to show the twisted, true self of IV. As No 15 dragged Vaccingale and Pringles guy to their death, the card it self remained lifeless and cold. Such a beautiful master-piece really.

This is likely, without a doubt my most favorite card in the Zexal series.

oh and, a story for you too EF. Chihaya summoned this on me with 2 Clockwork Shikgami before, just to be overkill >_>

>Used Trago

SOMEONE ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS HOW AWESOME TRAGO IS!?

Either way, Giant Killer eating his field was hilarious

You haven't looked at my Neo Galaxy screenshots in my sig, have you? Roughly half the time, Trago and/or Creator is directly responsible for its Summon.

It's the absolute best Rank 8 we have at the moment, not just a tech. It doesn't have to always kill an Xyz, you know, so it's actually pretty damn practical in anything that can get it out.

Giant Killer is much more splashable than Neo Galaxy, I'll concede that. I love Giant Killer, really. It's funny and in a format where Xyz monsters make up a lot of the strategy, it can really hurt. And one other duel I would have won if I remembered Giant Killer was twice per turn (opponent had Zenmaister and Number 32).

Because you're talking to evilfusion. And you seem to have forgotten Neo-Galaxy-Eyes is a card.

I've honestly never used this so I don't know how amazing it is, though I can guess.

I remember when I used this to kill BLS and their Utopia, then swinging with my Grapha for game. So good.
