Why not a bit of normal monster support? :D

Normal monster cards seem to be so underrated in today's meta in Yu-Gi-Oh, and to be honest, even with the extant normal monster support out there, I think it would go well with another addition to that. Thus, I introduce some normal monster support to help those eccentric and outcast decks who can use this help when facing things like Inzektors, Wind-ups, or other highly played archetypes out there. As always, give me feedback/ways I can help improve this card -- if at all. Thanks! (:

Lore: This card's effect can be activated during either player's turn. You can discard 1 card to gain one of the following effects:
• You can target 1 face-up Normal Monster on your side of the field; it gains 1500 ATK and DEF until the End Phase. It cannot attack your opponent directly the turn it is targeted by this effect.
• All face-up Normal Monster(s) you currently control are not affected by your opponent's card effects until the End Phase.

Edits to the card so far:

-Made it a field spell card
-Fixed a small error in OCG

i like this card but you should lower the amount of life points you have to pay...

Otherwise pretty good 9/10 :D!!

Thanks for the feedback. I have figured out how to balance the cost so you aren't so restricted in this card's usage. (:

Glad you think so. Could you see this being a viable card in a normal monster deck in conjunction with Heart of the underdog?

It could go like this: have Heart and spirit active --> Draw a normal monster --> Heart --> Draw normal monster --> Etc. --> Normal summon, use Spirit to discard 2 cards and gain a temporarily nearly invincible card on your side of the field at the expense of a large amount of hand advantage.

If this card existed, I can tell you: normal monster decks would get some serious leverage and might even end up becoming played again. xD

This card's effect can be activated during either player's turn. You can discard 1 card to gain 1 of the following effects:
• You can target 1 face-up Normal Monster on your side of the field; it gains 1500 ATK and DEF until the End Phase. It cannot attack your opponent directly the turn it is targeted by this effect.
• All face-up Normal Monster(s) you currently control are not affected by your opponent's card effects until the End Phase

^it's a very small and insignificant detail that I've noticed in cards. Semi-colons don't capitalize the next letter. Only colons do.

Other than those 2 minor things, there's nothing really to correct about it.
Card is perfect as it is. Expected Honest for Normal Monsters, or imunity to card effects.

Well, there's one thing... the picture doesn't look like too much of an "underdog".

Good job.

Thanks for the feedback, and I know. The whole idea is that it's the spirit of said underdog, or the 'power' inside that this card 'unlocks' It's like turning them into knights in shining armor, y'know? Though if it's that big of an issue, I can change it. I also know semi-colons don't capitalize letters... Do you see a capital letter after a semi-colon in that card? I sure don't. You added an unneeded grammatical fix, the 'i' in 'it' wasn't capitalized to begin with. <__<;

I specifically said it was not that big of an issue by saying "insignificant details", didn't I? <_<

As for the capitalized part, I guess my sight played a trick on me so, I apologyze.
Though you still wrote "one" instead of "1" up there so, it wasn't an entirely useless fix.

I see what you mean on the pic now. I'd say something else, but as I said, it's something insignificant.

Once again, good vanilla support that actually encourages Normal Monsters to be their own bosses rather than giving them extra swarm support just to be used as Materials for something else.

If I had so suggest something of value, it'd be to make it a Field Spell Card. That would make it easier to grab for a Deck centered around Normal Monsters taking advantage of this. Plus, it's not like you actually benefit from having more than 1 copy in play at a time. This card is not a "once per turn" so I'd assume you'd just need to discard twice.

I can already see some Deck ideas taking advantage of Dark Factory of Mass Production, Recurring Nightmare, and Salvage for the recycling of the discard food for this card, and it's lulzy that the immunity effect is chainable.
