Humor Me.

A sense of humor. A lot of people have one. Well, most of us, anyway. Unless it's just some of us.
It can range from normal, to outlandish, to downright spooky.
I think mine's a bit twisted. I got a Hello Kitty airbrush tattoo on campus today because I thought it'd be funny. Turns out I was right, and just like that my day was made.

So tell me, YCM, what's your sense of humor like, and what silly, whimsical things have you done with it?

I like off-color jokes. I joke behind my brother's back about him being a pedophile (his baby mama was 16 when they started fooling around,) openly hateful of blacks and Jews (especially my stepmom,) kissing up to my father who doesn't want him around, and who believes my family has a Gothic history like Alucard from Castlevania to the point he's become a character.

Last weekend, I heard he was getting married to an ex-girlfriend who looks like Edge from WWE. I joked that their wedding would have Edge's entrance theme instead of the usual wedding music. I also joked that their marriage will end in a domestic dispute in which his wife "spears" him.

I do parodies of most of my family.

I also like to play with words and user names.

Legend Zero? Ha! More like Forgotten One!

At Bonus Stage Marathons (I plug their streams in the status bar when they stream,) during their charity streams, I started a running gag where people in chat replace "shaq" with something else or replace something with "corn." Ex: Cornrage, Metal Gear Corn. It's pretty much a tradition at the stream.

Really, really dark and horrible sense of humour. Not gory or puerile, not "sick" - just very black. The best way to snap me out of a bout of sadness caused by a dead relative is actually to joke about said relative. And I'm really cynical and sardonic; shooting holes in things or being very pedantic are really amusing to me. It shuts people up and makes idiots stop talking.

Nerdy inside jokes and terrible puns get me going.

This pretty much. As soon as me and my friends strike up a conversation about something random, we end up making a joke about it that we normally bring into other conversations later in the day.

You like The Daily Show? Aren't you supposed to be a neocon?
Not everyone's a self-indulgent moron who only wants to hear they're right. (Like most Fox News viewers and probably a lot of MSNBC viewers. Possibly some Daily Show and Colbert Report viewers.)

Plus, Jon Stewart just so damn likeable, the writing is hilarious, it's informative, and to be honest, while it does usually slam Republicans, the show in itself isn't all that left-slanted.

But yes, I suppose I am "supposed to be" a neocon. Whether I am or not... Well, I'm still not too sure myself.
