Numbers in archetypes are fine, you need to stop complaining about them =/

They adapt to the user, and let's look at the numbers in archetypes

12 which makes sense cause second boss
33 which is apparently III's first number, so it makes sense and second boss
6, 15, and 40 are theorized to be CREATED BY TRON.
91 makes sense given it's user, as does Black Corn though it's not exactly an archetype. They also might have been made.

All sorts of numbers are fine in archetypes because they adapt. Galaxy Queen is also in a pseudo-archetype because loloedipus. It makes sense, there is no gap in logic.

Things like Number Wall, however, are abominations.

I believe they really are going to print out all ninety-nine Number cards. Some of these will appear in the anime (81, 7, 30, etc.), while others will appear in the manga (50, 91, 22, etc.). And even if both continuities end up finishing before all Numbers are out, I'm sure they'll find some way to get out more Numbers, maybe as part of a movie or story or even Duel Terminal storyline . . .

Yes, I agree. Some can totally obliterate, like 17, but others, like 10, have weak abilities in exchange for their cost. Anyway, I like them because they don't have any particular weakness that gets to all of them, except maybe their lack of Material. Have an Extra full of these, and you could respond to almost any situation.

By the way, why is #20 so rare and valuable, even though it only has a max of 2100 ATK, and only has 1900 the rest of the time? I want to collect it, but it costs $20 on Amazon, $10 at a Gaming Lobby that I went to recently.

I assume that numbers 97, 98, and 99 will be the hardest to summon-
The higher a number is, doesn't generally make it better/stronger.
Its all about the card's playability. Which is why the Rank 1s see little to no play outside of a dedicated build.
Which is true. However, there's got to be SOME big cards that take control of the plot, and Konami could decide to make the biggest numbers the strongest, because that's the way they are. At this point it's just a theory, so we'll have to wait until they actually make the cards before we can say, "Told ya so!"

I was actually speculating due to the actual number of the last 3 numbers.

Numbers?

I think Jinzo #7, Mystical Sheep #2 and Mushroom Man #2 are rather bad.

I do like Morphing Jar #2, though.

I agree, Morphing Jar #2 is very fun to use.
Flying Kimikari #2 sucks, Jinzo #7 sucks, I don't know why they haven't even made a #2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 for Jinzo yet, Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress #2 is stupid.

I'll admit that when I first discovered that the new anime series 'cards of power' were going to be called Numbers, I laughed. I thought it was a stupid idea.

Then when I saw how it was applied to the series, I began to warm to the idea.

One of the things I love about Numbers is the diversity. This is why I find Numbers as parts of other archtypes irksome (although one is fine, two in the same archtype annoys me and especially if the archtype is percieved as not having a non-Number boss), but yeah they all kind of are in a way anyway, and there's enough variety among them as a whole. Plus how awesome would be to one day actually own all 100 Numbers? That would feel like an accomplish to many and of course good money spinning idea by Konami. Just a shame only a few are that competitive. Love using them where I can as all my decks now are Xyz only, but usable ones are limited.

But hey, we still have seventy odd to go :)

Matt's favourite five Numbers: Black Mist, Giant Killer, Volcasaurus, Shock Ruler, Leviathan Dragon
