Mechanics: Basic Lands Matters, Hunter and Prey, Unusual Creature Types, TBA
Keywords: Provoke (Returning Keyword), TBA
Ability words: Primal
Size: 264 (107 Common, 67 Uncommon, 59 Rare, 16 Mythic, 15 Basic Lands)
Expansion Code: WOM

WHITE

Slate of Cleansing
Cost:
Type: Enchantment
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Uncommon
: Creatures you control lose all abilities until end of turn.

That wording won't stop the Hunted ability, if that's what you're hoping for. If you want it to stop Hunted abilities, it needs to be worded differently. However, since I'm not entirely sure how to word it, I'll write something like this.

This turn, creatures you control lose all abilities. (This ability only lasts until the beginning of the next turn.)

This wording sets a rule for the turn saying that, if you control the creature, if will lose its effects immediately and not trigger its own wnter-the-battlefield abilities. Then again, I don't know what your intent is. Your current wording does not have that power.

Whipcorder Knight
Cost:
Type: Creature - Human Knight
Power/Toughness: 2/2
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
Double Strike, provoke
,: Tap target creature.

At this point, the tap ability feels slightly pointless. However, it does give it the ability to be useful late game, when swinging is no longer a safe option.

BLUE

Hunted Tradesmaster
Cost:
Type: Creature - Merfolk Wizard
Power/Toughness: 2/1
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
Islandwalk
When Hunted Tradesmaster enters the battlefield, put three 1/1 red Human Barbarian creature token onto the battlefield under target opponent's control.
Tap two untapped creatures you control: Untap target basic Island.

Sure. I don't get why this would be particularly great. Slightly ramp while your opponent pummels your face in even faster?

Pincerbreaker
Cost:
Type: Creature - Camarid
Power/Toughness: 2/3
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Common
When Picerbreaker is provoked, it gains +2/+2 until the end of turn.

That's a cool idea. It would definitely find its spot in Limited.

Waterfront Kraken
Cost:
Type: Creature - Kraken
Power/Toughness: 8/8
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
Primal (Spend only mana produced by basic lands to cast this spell.)
Trample, Hexproof

Now it's a bit less ridiculous.

BLACK

Alluring Gorgon
Cost:
Type: Creature - Gorgon Wizard
Power/Toughness: 0/3
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
Deathtouch, provoke.
: Alluring Gorgon deals 1 damage to each creature blocking it.

Basically, BB: this thing is unstoppable this turn and target opponent's creature can't block and dies. I kind of think that might be a bit ridiculous for three mana, considering that black even has trouble dealing with black creatures. I'd bump this to 5 mana and makes it toughness 4, just to make it harder for red to deal with as well, but you know, that's just me.

RED

Shatterrock's Huntmaster
Cost:
Type: Legendary Creature - Human Barbarian
Power/Toughness: 3/1
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
First Strike, provoke.
Other creatures you control with provoke have "Whenever a creature dealt damage by this card this turn dies, put a +1/+1 counter on this card."

Want to give him a name? I mean, he's Legendary for a reason, so he should have a name he's known by.
Now I think he's balanced. He'd probably make a good red EDH general if red had a bunch of awesome provoke creatures.

GREEN

Hunted Satyr
Cost:
Type: Creature — Beast Satyr
Power/Toughness: 2/2
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Common
When Hunted Satyr enters the Battlefield, put two 1/1 black Harpy creature token with flying onto the battlefield under target opponent's control.

Sure. I guess green has enough flying removal to deal with those two flyers and give you a 2/2 for one mana. Not the best thing in the world, but it's a common so you shouldn't expect too much.

Muraganda Petroglyphs (Reprint)
Cost:
Type: Enchantment
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
Creatures with no abilities get +2/+2.

Ironically enough, this is a card that doesn't really belong here at all. In fact, this is only good for siding in against someone who uses a lot of Hunteds, and even those Hunteds usually give abilities to their tokens as well.
I feel like the idea was for this to be put into a block based on giving tokens to yourself. As what I'm seeing now, there isn't a lot that helps this card except that white enchantment above.

Wall of Lemonbalm
Cost:
Type: Creature - Wall
Power/Toughness: 0/4
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Uncommon
Defender
Creatures you control cannot be provoked.

Now THAT'S a wall. 11/10 card design right there.

Wildfang Packmaster
Cost:
Type: Creature - Human Shaman
Power/Toughness: 4/4
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Mythic Rare
Primal (Spend only mana produced by basic lands to cast this spell.)
When Wildfang Packmaster enters the battlefield put a 2/2 green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield for each untapped basic land you control.

Hurray for balance!

MULTICOLORED

Sarkhan the Wild
Cost:
Type: Planeswalker - Sarkhan
Loyalty: 4
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Mythic Rare
+1: Sarkhan the Wild deals 2 Damage to target creature or player. The damage can't be prevented.
-3: Destroy target noncreature permanent
-6: Sarkhan the Wild becomes a 6/6 red and green Dragon creature with flying, trample, haste and ": Regenerate Sarkhan" that's still a planeswalker.

The creature-planeswalker combination gets very hairy with rulings and also doesn't work anywhere near as well as you'd hope. I'd personally just scrap the idea, since the only other alternative I can think of is making this a Transform card, which would be strange in this set in its own way.
That's my review on the new/changed cards I noticed.

Cycle: Allied Multicolor Primal Weirds
Burningwillow
Coalbonizer
Glowmoss
Petroplasm
Winterfrost

BLUE

Metamorphic Ooze
Cost:
Type: Creature - Ooze
Power/Toughness: 0/0
Number: ???/246
Rarity: Rare
You may have Metamorphic Ooze enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield except it gains " : Return this creature and all creatures with the same name as this creature to their owners' hands."

That's fair, although the ability is a bit expensive for what will probably bounce one, maybe two creatures, the cost of the ability could be downgraded to 4 mana, in either fashion. The only thing I'm skeptical about is a 3 mana Clone *cough*SunTitan*cough*. The only defense your opponent would have against that combo would be a clone of some sort and the mana to cast the clone and bounce them all.

BLACK

Gravesprung Ooze
Cost:

Protection from white.
: Exile target creature card from a graveyard. Put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of that card. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery.

I figured that's what you meant. If you meant making another copy of Gravesprung Ooze, just replace "that card" with "Gravesprung Ooze".

RED

Chaos Twister
Cost:

Destroy all permanents. Then for each permanent destroyed this way, its controller puts a permanent card at random from his Graveyard into the battlefield.

So hilarious. I'd use it.

GREEN

Evolving Ooze
Cost:

Evolving Ooze enters the battlefield with X+1 +1/+1 counters on it.
Evolving Ooze has Haste as long as it has 2 or more +1/+1 counters on it.
Evolving Ooze has Vigilance as long as it has 5 or more +1/+1 counters on it.
Evolving Ooze has Trample as long as it has 7 or more +1/+1 counters on it.

Eh, I guess that's okay, but maybe kind of weak. This could probably go to 3/3 just fine.

Petroplasm
Cost:

Neither of the two abilities are really worth it, however, it seems you wanted to stick to just 1 mana costs.

Winterfrost

Labyrinth of the Jungle
Enchantment (Uncommon)
Flash
When ~ enters the battlefield, if it's on the battlefield, exile target creature and that creature's controller gains control of ~.
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice ~.
When ~ leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to the battlefield tapped under your control.

The old wording looked kind of hairy and allowed for permanently getting rid of a creature. I've reworded it so it functions rather similarly to its original Instant-form function, however now it's more like an Oblivion Ring that can't be cheated for permanent removal. I'm quite certain the edited-in-red form is how it would be worded.

The three red Kobold cards are fine.

Sor, Shatterrock's Huntmaster
Legendary Creature - Human Barbarian (Rare)
First Strike, provoke.
Other creatures you control with provoke have "Whenever a creature dealt damage by this card this turn dies, put a +1/+1 counter on this card".
3/1

It would be funny to change him to a Kobold too, but either way is fine.

Born in Nature
Instant (Common)
You may return two basic Forest you control to their owner's hand rather than pay Quag Harvest's mana cost.
Put 3 1/1 Green Satyr creature tokens onto the battlefield.

Sure. Maybe a bit powerful (3 mana for 3 tokens, to fit right under the Petroglyphs in the curve), but that is green, so it should be fine.

Savage Satyr
Creature - Satyr (Common)
: Savage Satyr gets +2/+2 until the end of turn. If Savage Satyr was provoked it gets +4/+4 instead. Activate this ability only once each turn.
1/1

I like this idea. He can be a defensive 5/5, a turn two 3/3, or just a 1/1. Very nice design.

Sarkhan the Wild
Planeswalker - Sarkhan (Mythic Rare)
+1: Sarkhan the Wild deals 2 Damage to target creature or player. The damage can't be prevented.
-3: Destroy target noncreature permanent
-6: Sarkhan the Wild becomes a 6/6 red and green Dragon creature with flying, trample, haste and ": Regenerate Sarkhan" that's still a planeswalker.
Loyalty: 4

It seems I'll have to tell you why making a Creature-Planeswalker is a bad idea (and how Gideon avoids the troubles, if you want to bring up how Gideon pulls it off regularly), as well as explain to you how you can fix this design if you really insist on Creature-Planeswalker.
-First off, he has to survive his -6, meaning that's really like a 7. Gideon avoids this by having a 0 cost.
-If damage is dealt to a creature, it is marked on him and if the marked on damage builds up to the toughness, the creature is destroyed. If damage is dealt damage to a Planeswalker, that Planeswalker loses that many Loyalty Counters and when it runs out, it is sent to the Graveyard (regeneration can't save a Planeswalker with no loyalty counters). A Creature-Planeswalker dealt damage has both these effects applied to it, so it will have damage marked on and Loyalty counters removed. Gideon doesn't care, however, because he prevents the damage dealt to himself while he's a creature.
-If a Planeswalker is a creature during the opponent's turn, it can block and be involved in combat even if it's being attacked. It just takes the damage from the creature it's blocking directly to the Loyalty. Heck, it can even block a creature that's attacking it. Gideon avoids hairy combat rulings by being a creature only during your own turn.

Despite a transform card being a perfect way to do this card, that wouldn't fit the flavor of the block. I suggest affixing either "Damage cannot remove Loyalty Counters from Sarkhan" and/or "Having 0 Loyalty Counters does not send Sarkhan to the Graveyard" to the creature-planeswalker form.
The first line would make it so the only thing damage would do to it is mark on the creature, in which case you could regenerate it. However, Sarkhan would still die if its Loyalty would hit 0, such as by using his -3.
The second line would make it so he's survive the full removing of his counters after the ability resolves but he would still lose Loyalty Counters when he gets attacked and getting to the -3 would be really hard.
Both lines together would make it so his Loyalty is bound almost exclusive by the loyalty abilities. Do note, however, that even with the second or both lines, it will still need 7 loyalty counters to be able to activate and survive its last ability.

All of these are stupidly broken. They might not be broken if the only set were this one, but in any format where this set isn't the focus these pretty much replace Basic Lands for anything other than mono-colored decks, and that means they're really broken. If you made a cycle of ten of these where they didn't have the basic land subtype (or the corresponding mana ability) and instead said to tap for colorless, they'd be a really interesting dual series.

3/3

The above three are just fine.

Sandkin Titan

2/3

Seems kind of overpowered. Even Armored Warhorse is a good card standing as a WW 2/3 with no abilities. I'd much rather see Armored Warhorse in this set than the current card. Remember that every recent set has a considerable amount of vanillas, and this set definitely should not be an exception since it has with Muraganda Petroglyphs in it.

Aether Hurricane
Instant (Common)
Counter target spell. Its controller adds mana to his/her mana pool equal to that's spell mana cost. (Mana cost includes color. If a mana symbol has multiple colors, choose one.)

Counterspells have to be instants, otherwise they don't function at all.
The card itself is a really inventive idea on Counterspell. I approve.

Scarwitch Cantor
Creature - Siren Wizard (Common)
Scarwitch Cantor can't block.

Looks pretty cool.

Waterdragger Giant
Creature - Giant Homarid (Uncommon)
Primal (Spend only mana produced by basic lands to cast this spell.)
Waterdragger Giant enters the battlefield tapped.
When Waterdragger Giant enters the battlefield, you may search your library for up to three basic Islands and put them onto the battlefield tapped. If you do, shuffle your library.
3/5

Not sure why blue would get that kind of ability.

Earthshaker
Sorcery (Common)
You may return two basic Mountain you control to their owner's hand rather than pay Earthshaker's mana cost.
As an additional cost to cast Earthshaker, sacrifice a land.
Destroy target land.

Kinda random, but sure.

Naplt, Satyr Harvester
Legendary Creature - Beast Satyr Shaman (Rare)
Spells with Primal you cast cost less to cast.
2/1

Nice way to work around Primal's own restriction. Good thing it's in green.

Again, I don't like how these can easily replace 4 basic lands of multicolored decks in other formats. However, I guess you figure they aren't overpowered or that the impact they would make on other formats wouldn't be as large as I imply.

2/1
While I can understand why this would be rare, it isn't really good. Add on being on a meh creature this is just really unexciting. Make it cost more, like 5, increase the size a bit, and make it double the life gain. Hell, I think that would make for a better mythic then something that just exiles a R or B perm.

Going to throw it out there, but with the cycle of rare lands having the land type it might confuse newer players with how these would work with them. Plus the amount of benefit isn't that much to cut the word basic from the effect.

Sorcery (Common)
Counter target spell. Its controller adds mana to his/her mana pool equal to that's spell mana cost. (Mana cost includes color. If a mana symbol has multiple colors, choose one.)
Sorcery speed counter magic. Yea, this is either REALLY broken or really bad. Since I haven't seen any way to give this flash, I'm going to say very bad.

Geyser's Gush
Sorcery (Common)
You may return two basic Islands you control to their owner's hand rather than pay Geyser's Gush mana cost.
Draw 2 cards.
Still think just returning any Island is fine. That said, card is good.

Hunted Tradesmistress
Creature - Siren Wizard (Rare)

Piercing Tendrils
Sorcery ( Common)

Pincerbreaker
Creature - Homarid (Common)
When Picerbreaker is provoked, it gains +2/+2 until the end of turn.

There, I commented on all the cards.

Flame Dragon, the only problem with the basic land subtypes is that they automatically make those lands have "T: Add [corresponding color] to their mana pool", making the later three abilities useless and makes those as good as the original duals.
Those duals would be fine if you got rid of their basic land types. This set is about the importance of basic lands, so these being able to help each other create their other mana types is unnecessary.

I personally like the idea of those duals, though.

Thats why they say another. They don't count themselves so turn 1 they only tap for colorless and turn 2 they can only be a full duel land if you play a second copy.

But the problem is, as a Forest Mountain, it can inherently tap for either G or R already. That's why I said the other three abilties were useless; they're outclassed by the abilities naturally given by the subtypes Mountain and Forest.

I assume the written abilities would bypass the basic land ability since you would usually need italic bracketed text otherwise.

Thats why I would assume.

Assuming that doesn't work.
G/R Duel Land
Land - Forest
T: Add G to your mana pool
T: Add R to your mana pool. Activate only if you control a Mountain.

Only problem with this version if to make a cycle you need twice the number of cards then normal. I guess that is how you end up with a triland cycle. lol

I guess to make the triland cycle not better then basics making them into new shock lands would work.

Misty is actually Right...
The Subtype inherits the Land with the Basic Land Tap ability.
STILL THEY ARE NOT BASIC LANDS so you could not run more than 4 in your Decks

And example of this is this card:

Also I medited a little and decided to remodeld some of the cards...coz of some stuff that people pointed out...

SPACE FOR EDIT:
WTF YCM SERIOUSLY WTF!

IN PROGRESS EDIT:
1) Lands will be remodeled to the last thing Flame Suggested, Duals nor Triple...
And I'll only make the allied colored...with the enemy colored Cycle being left out for what it should be another set in the Block
2) Corrections in Stuff will be made starting with the Counterspell being made into an Instant so people will stop pointing that thing out....
3) All the Weird that doesn't grant themselves Keyword Bonues will now do instead ofhaving crappy and unbalanced effect.
4) TBA

UPDATES!!!
Just throwing this out there, but normally it is best to include the updates in the post you announce them in. This only becomes more true as more cards get added since trying to find a new card can be a pain in a sea of old ones.

You know I wanted you to actually have the updates in the post and not just you saying what you changed. It makes it easier on reviewers to look at just the relevant stuff. And as another note, if you are going to format it like this include what the old version was too.

Anyway

Blessings Unspoken seems cool. I like.
Envoy is now a sweet mythic while Dawnbringer is a bomb rare. This is good.
Erased in Dust is strong, but a good uncommon.
Pride of Manes: Kitty.
Wanderlance is also good.

No long misreading Hurricane shows it is an interesting design. I like.
Ooze is a good clone now.
Pincerbreaker is now one of the best blue commons. Still, it seems fair.
Even at uncommon Tidal Wave just seems like a blow out. I still think it needs an extra cost of returning something to your hand to use. Remember in limited Primal is not a draw back.
Giant can be a common.
Harpy is good.
I also like Ooze.
Harvest seems like a nice, strong uncommon.
Urge is a fine common.
Matron seems much better as a rare since its just treading ground that other cards have made. If you want it to be mythic drop the cost by 1 and add "B: Put a 1/1 Black Snake creature token with deathtouch onto the battlefield."
So, Rule at best just burns for 3 to the face. Seems meh, but it is a common, so w/e.
Cultist is cool.
NEW CARDS: Herald of Chaos, Huntedlooter Viashino
Earthshaker is good.
Sor is also good.
Viashino should be a 3/2 this way 1 token won't just trade with him.
Chaos seems good. It would be made a little better to make it so you alone benefit. So something like
"You may cast Sorcery spells as though they had flash."
"Instant spells your opponent controls can only be cast at any time a sorcery spell could be cast."
NEW CARDS: Crushingclaws Nishoba, Nature's Cover, Pack Hunt (Reprint), Scion of Wildness.
Hunted is cool.
Savage might be too good in limited at common. Might want to make him uncommon.
Nishoba seems odd as a cat.
Cover's draw one seems unneeded. It already is a damn good uncommon.
Pack Hunt is a good reprint.
Scion is a sweet.

I like the Weird Cycle. Just flip the UB ones effects.
Sharkhan is a lot better. Also, the -4 seems strange since when he comes back he'll come back with 5 loyalty. You should add that he comes back with 1 loyalty counter.
Still think the land cycle would look nice with a cycle going the other way, but its fine as is.

As for changes you didn't make that I REALLY think you should; Alluring Gorgon is still stupid good and Packmaster is still a really lame mythic.

Also, in thinking about it, provoke seems like it might need to be really careful about its numbers and rarity. It is a very strong mechanic that can make limited needlessly fast. A couple of commons is ok, but like the current ones keep them with very low toughness. Also, to add one, now that the set is coming together keep track of how often mechanics are being used.

Thanks for the Comments...

Uhm about the problems you addressed...
With Alluring Gorgon i'm not sure...I mean will she ever be blocked by more than 1 creature at the time?
You may as well say that then the ability is meh...what can I do then?

Huntmaster went from Broken to Meh I see...I was looking to make something else with him...Maybe I might follow my Idea and instead of Having it have a pack of Wolfs he may have only a pair of Legendary Ones acompaning him ala Tolsimir Wolfblood

Also Preparing more cards ATM...I'll also try to make like you said...

AND...be ready for when I reach 100 cards the New Mechanic left in the Set will be introduced...XD
