mido9
Negating one attack and getting a situational direct attack isnt all that good imo.
Archelaus
Number 9 = Rank 9 How come Number 8 = Rank 4 again?
~British Soul~
hmm....so we know it got nerf'd already and we only saw its attack negation effect in the anime
Canopy Star - Eon Sphere
How would you even go about getting this out anyway? I can't think of anything that would actually be easy...

ekko1990
So, special summon Vice Dragon, normal summon a level 4 dark with 1000 or less atk, play Tannhäuser Gate and exceed. Meh, fun card I guess, but not worth it.
mido9
Two Mist Wurm? I just wish we had more than 15 Level 9 monsters. Merci
Well, it can only negate an attack once per turn, but it can negate that attack each turn. It doesn't have to detach its Xyz Materials to negate that attack, and not to mention did anyone realize that due to its effect it can pretty much have an unlimited amount of Xyz Materials? You could use one of those Xyz supporting spells on it which requires it to detach its materials, and then when it's all out it can just negate another attack and get two Xyz Materials back. Helps with one of those attack-forcing spells, and the attack-directly effect isn't as situational as it sounds. I actually like this. Too bad it's a Rank 9. Stupid 9s. Second-worst Level after Level 11.
Canadian
Lol Rank 11 would be an auto-win card. (excluding cards like gagaga)
This Account is Unplayable
I swear Battle Step =/= Battle Phase, but I could be wrong. Still not good considering the rank.
ekko1990
You are correct there Chris. It is just made so that you can't activate it's effect multiple times for the same attack since it is a quick effect.
evilfusion
I swear Battle Step =/= Battle Phase, but I could be wrong. Still not good considering the rank.
The Battle Step is the period of time between attack declaration up to Damage Step (but not within Damage Step). This is the same timing Galaxy-Eyes can use its effect. It looks hilarious, honestly. 2800/3000 isn't...bad, but it's a Rank 9, so that seems kind of underwhelming. So once per Battle Step...WHAT?! Under what circumstances can an attack be declared twice in one Battle Step? Anyway..it negates that attack. This is mandatory. If it has no Materials, it gains 2 from the Grave when attacked. OH...that's why it's worded "once per Battle Step". If it's attacked while it has no Materials, it gains 2, and then immediately activates to negate that attack. The second effect I actually really like. By detaching a Material while the opponent has a monster with more ATK, it can attack directly. It basically seems to exist as an anti-Galaxy-Eyes card, as Galaxy-Eyes' effect to remove Overlays and get stronger do not make this card a sitting duck. Rather, it forces them into a stalemate, as Galaxy-Eyes can just chain to Dyson Sphere's effects and leave it with 0 Overlays anyway. This keeps Dyson from using the direct attack effect. Toffee.
Guys, Oni Gami Combo. This card can easily have Materials all over it. Oh, and:
werewolfjedi
that's actually really good if you build around it's effect, don't even care about the direct attacking, just protect is and use it's materals for the XYZ cards. seems to me that if you have this card on the field monsters mean nothing to you, and level requirements 9, I can see why is negates all attacks on it.also, makes me think of mass effect 3 ending
Agro
It can continuously reuse Xyz Materials. That's all you need to know.

WhoAreYou?
So it lasts a long time until a card effect gets rid of it. Still interesting though.
CommanderVolt
So, who da thought Cirno gets an epic megastructure as her ace monster? OT: Intresting, not quite as amazing as i thought it would be seems to be pretty original. Solid-ish stats, okay-ish effect, dat artwork, good typing and can be used in some pretty neat ways. can't wait to get this into my portfolio. Just Crouton
Repliforce would be so proud, but why would I try to swing over a 2800 ATK monster with all the card destruction options and Cydra? It's direct attack effect is really weak.
wiithepeople
Mirror Ladybug would be a great idea in bringing this out, but are there any Level 9 monsters can be Special Summoned from the hand or graveyard?
