Volcasaurus would like a word with you.
The Numbers from best to worst, not counting Fran Ken because we don't have a IRL effect yet.....
Big Eye ( Not as hard to summon as it seems )
Volcasaurus
Shock Ruler
Utopia
Revise
Acid Golem
Black Corn
Giant Killer
Heaven's Strings
Dyson Sphere ( only because its rather hard to get out for most decks )
Brilliant
Crimson Shadow ( Volca and Tiras do it MUCH better though )
Shark Drake
Galaxy Queen
Black Mist
Machu Mach
Atlathal
Tera-Byte
Focus Force
Lucky Stripe
Illumknight
Freezerdon
Goldrat
Thunderpsark Dragon
The fact that Goldrat is better than this says A LOT.

This list makes me wonder if you've ever even read half the Numbers.

Obviously, he didn't. I'd say in no particular order, Vulca, Eye, Shock Ruler, Utopia and Revice are the best 5 numbers. Anyway, this is slightly disappointing if this is the final card. It needed a way to gain Xyz Materials.

I'm gonna just assume you actually meant Utopia, Leviathan, Giga Brilliant, Acid Golem and Black Corn.

Yea, whatever. I've already explained I don't follow Yugioh all that much. Would be nice with like, Spirit Convertor's first effect, why isn't that built in? :/

Okay, maybe there's been an over-reaction in saying this is the worst Number (he says while slowly kicking his previous posts under the carpet). This is clearly easier to summon and does more for it than Gold Rat, Illuminknight and Lucky Stripe.

I think the underwhelment is the reason really. We all knew for ages the manga was releasing this 5 Material Thunderous Sea Serpent, got all excited that it would be epic, and then got... this...

Weren't you arguing about how you thought Acid Golem sucks?

Unless your extra deck is overflowing with space this should never be run. It becomes a hindrance and in the current metagame its ATK isn't worth anything above either summoning Number 17 or a Zenmaines. All this does is put you on the backfoot further, because you're now set yourself a clock before it becomes useless and good players can easily stall it out until you lose because of this card's effect. Unless the rare situation arises where this would be more helpful than any other Grade 3 (unlikely now with the Djinns being released) you would never regret using up its space for something more useful, and the chances of needing this are slim enough to not warrant wasting the space.

Oh yeah, you were, hypocrite.

OT: Thunderspark is a nice card. Until I figure out exactly how to detach 5 materials when it starts with 3 (e_e), I'll just use its other effect. And yes, I'd run this on DN.

Quoting something from one of my vague reference Bday threads means nothign considerign how old they are .~.

OT: You use Spirit Convertor, or so it was intended. Overlay Regenerate works too.

Lol too bad, I just remembered Chris arguing about Acid, so I couldn't resist.

OT: I see... but it's easy to get rid of Convertor. So what's the point?

Well, the hing is, Spirit Convertor was meant to be double pressure with this card.

If they don't destroy it, Thunderspark will potentially nuke them,

If they do destroy it, you get a +2 off of Converter.

It's not really good, considering there are better 3 Material R4 choices, but it at least shows that Konami was at least thinking about pressure design.

Isn't there some Spell that attachs to an Xyz Monster upon activation? Chances are we will get some "Attach 5 monsters to Xyz" by 2013 to make it's 2nd effect usuable.

How's Dyson Sphere better than Brilliant?
