kennyboy23
Edit: Oops! I messed up on the original post. It has been fixed though. XD Hi everyone @ YCM! I'm Kenneth! So...? Tell me what ya think. I take any and all kinds of criticism maturely and use it to better my card making. I know my pics can easily be found with a google search but the graphic uniqueness is something I can learn to work on. Aquaman "Aqua Madoor" + "Obnoxious Celtic Guard"(actual cards from the game XD) Its unique set is called "Lord of the Ocean"(I think thats the name of a real card, isn't it? *shrug*), "Aquaman" being the primary secret rare from that set. When this card is summoned to the field, your opponent immediately takes life point damage equal to the total combined ATK of all Water monsters in your graveyard. Card Self-Rating: 8/10 Pros: Straightforward way to do some potentially big LP damage. Cons: None really. My favorite card I've made so far(out of these 4). Duel of Endurance I thought this picture gave a very good graphic idea for the title. Its a grudge match situation, and somewhat "sudden death". I honestly would be pretty mad if someone played this card though. It doesn't ENTIRELY reset the duel(2k Life Points each) but its such a drag to have to reset everything if you basically just won the duel. This card can only be activated when you take damage to your Life Points that would otherwise cause you to lose the duel. You and your opponent add all cards on the field, in your grave, and in your hand to your decks. Shuffle your decks and draw 5 cards. Each player's Life Points are reset to 2000. Your opponent's turn has restarted to Draw Phase. Your opponent does not get a Battle Phase this turn. Card Self-Rating: 2.75/10 Pros: It gives you another chance to win Cons: You have to lose to use it(so you'll probably lose again). Y.R.P - Gullwings Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: Yuna, Rikku, and Paine! Team Gullwings! For it being a triple fusion, I honestly don't think its too overpowered. I think it brings a lot to the table, while still having lots of weaknesses. Its just a great concept card. XD "Yuna, The Summoner" + "Paine, The Reckoning" + "Rikku, The Al Bhed". This monster is immune to all effects of opponent's Magic cards. As long as this card remains on the field: 1. Your hand limit is increased to 8 cards. 2. You may draw 1 extra card per Draw Phase. 3. You have no tribute requirement for Normal monsters of any level. Card Self-Rating: 7.25/10 Pros: Plenty of helpful tools from 1 single card. Cons: Not the strongest 3-monster fusion in terms of ATK/DEF. Deathwing, Essence of Death This card can not be Normal or Special Summoned. This card can only be summoned by removing every monster of Level 7 and higher from your deck to the graveyard. Every turn, including this one, remove three Level 7 or higher monsters in your graveyard from play, or this card will be destroyed. This monster is immune to Magic, Trap, and Monster Effects that would otherwise destroy it. When this monster is destroyed, it is removed from play. YO! Straight outta Cataclysm, its the Essence of Death himself. I think his effect is appropriate. He's kinda like a "make it or break it"/"win or lose" type of gamble. It could easily go either way. The key thing with this card is keeping him on the field for as many turns as possible. So after reading the effect: imagine you had 12 other level 7+ monsters in your deck, equalling 4 turns to keep Deathwing on the field and a decent chance at winning since your deck is now free of all those useless level 7+ junk monsters you discarded, and now you have a better chance of drawing a Magic card that can support Deathwing even further. In a perfect world, in a perfect scenario, and in a perfect duel, that would be awesome if it happened that way. Honestly though, the way I designed this card, you'd waste so much deck space just to try to support this ONE monster that you MAY or MAY NOT draw early enough in the duel. Lets face it: its never a good idea to have too many high level monsters laying around in your deck. If you don't get Deathwing on your initial draw or within the first 3 or so, you'd be screwed. A deck centered around this card would have to be tested and balanced out, and a sweet spot would have to be found as far as having perhaps 6 or 9 level 7+ monsters that would bring viability to the table(not just useless Normal Summon pawns that would do no good if you draw them before Deathwing). You want monsters that can bide a little time for you to draw Deathwing, and then sit in the graveyard one by one, waiting to be tributed to finally summon the Essence of Death! Card Self-Rating: 5/10 Pros: Looks cool. Flashy card! Cons: Risk is not worth the reward. It would be an overrated card almost in an Exodia-type sense. thefunnybunny
These are some top notch cards. 9.99/10 Duel of Endurance is kinda overpowered a little.
