~British Soul~
Exodia should be banned because it's just bad for the game, but it probs won't
HSektor
Should be banned because is just an autoplay+luck deck. Ban the head and unlimit the other parts.
Guest .Rai
Personally, I don't blame him. Stupid card, fuels OTKs, won't be banned, should be banned, ridiculously unfun for your opponents /thread
Doc.
LOL, some guy was running some E-Hero/Exodia hybrid on DN, I was just like "What the f*** is wrong with you"
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Oh awesome, I get to sit here and do nothing except watch you draw card after card using various loops until you 'win', what a fun exercise this promises to be. wiithepeople
Exodia is for f**s. Real men play Self-Destruct Button. But then again it's always fun to make people think I'm running Life Equalizer or Blasting the Ruins or even Hell Tempest.
Guest ⌈Remote⌋
Fun story:I was testing some ridiculous Power Tool deck on DN(it was amusingly horribly), and my Duel note was "Testing, English"...The guy I played was exodia.I said "I said 'Testing', not 'Sit here while you take about 9001 miniutes out of my time to get a set of cards.'"I admitted defeat and left promptly. These decks are no fun to play, and do deserve banage. Guest God Crouton!!!
oh boyif this is another dn sucks thread im leaving Equalizer + Ruins is better because you don't have to hang onto 4 dead cards trying to draw the game winner.
Toffee.
Now-a-days, an Exodia deck is:Exodia x5Pot of Greed x35 So yea, pretty obviously why it would be rage-inducing, because its better to just surrender then sit there for 20 minutes while they draw their whole deck. DARKPLANT RISING
Exodia isn't a duel. Given you went to the site to duel, of course you'd quit if you saw you can't.
Master Hyperion
"Should be banned because it reduces player interaction"- Rescue Rabbit- Inzektor Hornet- Wind-Up Hunter OT: People actually scoop against Exodia? I've encountered them countless on DN and only lost against 1 of them because it was unexpected since I thought he was runnnig Piper Chaos and I was just play testing a casual deck. And yes, each 1 of them was only 1 duel long and 0 matches. And why is YCM suddenly so obsessed with Player Interaction all of the sudden? First the whole ATK-doesn't-matter period, the whole card-advantage-is-everything-even-if-the-cards-sucks period, and now this. Should Swords of Revealing Light and Messenger of Peace also be banned because it also reduces Player Interaction, but stuff like Wind-Up Hunter and Inzektor Hornet + Dragonfly/Centipede dont fall in those category because it somehow encourages player interaction, even if the player still basicly plays sollitaire all by himself by also using their opponent's cards if their opponent didnt drew a counter against it? oh ok then

It IS the founding point of yugioh and one of the most major selling points of the game. Swords of Revealing Light and Messenger of Peace are directly counter-able with common-place cards, so they aren't an issue. Things such as Exodia, however, require either very, very narrow cards (i.e. Droll & Lock Bird) or simply have no counter. They're also only ever played out in one turn. Unsurprisingly Inzektors and Wind-Ups don't generally win in one turn, and even when they can those moves are at least stoppable, albeit with only a few cards (provided they went first, but the odds of them going first and opening the combo (for Inzektors) or loop (for Wind-Ups) is so narrow that it isn't a major problem. In fact, the current metagame (barring Chaos Dragons to an extent) promoted player interaction, especially Dino Rabbit, funny as it sounds. Players are in a constant mind-game, including the Dino Rabbit player, as to what to negate, and what to make, and one wrong move can lose the player advantage. Even trying to compare the metagame as it is to such a solitaire deck makes your intelligence of the current game questionable.
DARKPLANT RISING
Just because you can win against a deck, doesn't mean that duel was fun.
mido9
Do i really need to go "ITT: YCM is fine with rescue rabbit,wind-up hunter and inzektor hornet"? There's also the whole deal of exodia being either trash or terror, making it completely and absolutely useless when it isnt broken, but wind ups, inzektors and dino rabbit can at least go from "competitive but should not be" to just "Competitive",so they're at least more salvageable than exodia. Manjoume Thunder
So you are not only using an auto-pilot, degenerate strategy in a Best-of-1 environment solely for the purpose of pissing off people on DN, but you are also running a bad version so you can't even use "I want to win" as an excuse. Your friends must love you.
Zowayix
I still think Exodia would be a better card with this effect: If you add this card to your hand when the only other cards in your hand are [the 4 Exodia limbs], you win the Duel. Expelsword
The worst part is when you have so little skill that you can't even play Exodia/Countdown/Burn properly. I'm left laughing at you.
wiithepeople
The main thing about Exodia and other decks like this is they're all "rock-paper-scissor" decks (see Hunter-centric WindUps). You go first, you'll win unless you somehow f*** up your draw combos or something. If not, you'll probably lose more than you win. Besides, all this is just a game. It's not like I care if it gets banned or anything. And also, this whole "player interaction" is a bunch of bull anyways. Seriously, who came up with that?
