Why? And Quasar's in no way comparable to Formula or Librarian, because it's fine. I honestly don't get WHY people hate Synchros so much, in general. [/quote] How is it NOT a good thing? Design-wise, I mean. Xyz tend to focus on 1-2 ranks per deck, though some do more, and thus have the ability to get staples plus other stuff in there as opposed to Synchros where you're hard pressed for Extra Deck techs in addition to all the "normal" stuff you need to run. Plus, you can smack Xyz on almost any deck whatsoever, when you can't do that with Synchros outside of Reborn Capability. I mean, Synchro decks can even have potent Xyz Engines now because Xyz are so easy to work with, while the opposite doesn't happen. Synchros also have less advantage maintaining capabilities. They're namely beaters, sans the first few "waves" as well as a few more. Xyz don't have to be big because they get the job done swiftly. Conspiracy?). Also, you don't technically need this for Quasar, but it allows you to replace all the cards you used for it, making it less of an investment and moreso illegal insider trading. Maybe if this and Formula stays at 1, or one of them ends banned, I can have Fishborg-tan with me again (says after taking the dust of his 2xQuasar+Exodia deck in Dueling Network).
