newhat
I was thinking about Instant Fusion the other day when I realized it was perfect for a basic Genex Deck. In fact, it was so perfect that I began to suspect the Genex Synchros were built around abusing it. While not EVERY card benefited from it, a huge number of them did. Later, I was thinking about the cards you can use for cheap Gem-Knight Fusion Material. Thunder Dragon for Prismaura or Seraphi, Volcanic Shell for Citrine, T.A.D.P.O.L.E. for...dumb guy nobody uses...I couldn't think of one for Zirconia..Anyways, all of them something in common: cheap +1 effects and nigh-uselessness to Summon. What card can take cheap advantage of cards like that? Snipe Hunter. And Snipe Hunter works beautifully with Obsidian and GKF. Soon I realized that other Duel Terminal archetypes were built to gain huge advantage from using single cards: Steelswarm: Recurring Nightmare Verz or Evilswarm: Creeping Darkness Gishki: Salvage (It's a generic example, but no Deck does quite as much with Salvage) Laval: Rekindling (probably Flamvell as well, but simultaneously rather than one after the other) Fabled: Beckoning Light Gusto: Creature Swap? I'm not going to square-peg any more. Got ideas? Share them.
Expelsword
Rekindling was made specifically for Flamvells and Lavals, I'm pretty sure that goes ditto for the Verz and Recurring Nightmare.
Agro
Snipe Hunter is slow and doesn't work as material for any of the Gem-Knight Fusions. Recurring Nightmare and Creeping Darkness are fairly mediocre. Salvage can be abused by MOST WATER decks. Rekindling, as stated, was MADE for Flamvells and Lavals. Beckoning Light shouldn't really be run in Fableds. Creature Swap... you're just scrambling for an idea that isn't there.
Expelsword
I could see how Beckoning Light might be a tech in a Billy Fabled kind of deck, but there's better options. Creature Swap sort of works with Gusto, since practically all of them activate graveside. Salvage is hax.

Salvage is hax.
It was used in old Fableds, back when Cat was alive, iirc. It's shitty now @_@ And Salvage is super hax.
DARKPLANT RISING
It isn't that Recurring Nightmare was made to support Steelswarms. Neither was Salvage created to support Gishkis. It's simply that Steelswarms were made to work with Recurring Nightmare, and Gishkis were made to work with Salvage.
