newhat Posted July 18, 2012 Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Gearfried isn't a legal target for Hornet. Only the monster whose effect equipped Hornet is a legal target for Hornet. This is why using Veiler on a Dragonfly that has already equipped Hornet will break Hornet off. Gearfried doesn't have much going for him aside from his evolution.
