Should be the Dark World to go, it searches anything, at the worst it's constant discard fodder. Also has reaaally confusing card text.

Discuss this and it's possible placing on the list.

Thin deck.
Get resources.
and I've found out this isn't "Hurr I grab Grapha" every single time.

Yay, you're learning! =D

Seriously, all this is used for is thinning the deck and keeping a constant DW in your hand unless you have a good hand anyway. Personally, I'd like this to stay and Konami to do the smart option and hit Broww. It keeps DWs as at least a remotely consistent deck but in no way consistent enough to be meta-worthy. It's a weird manner of hitting a deck, but seeing as they likely won't ever be supporting DWs again then it'd be enough to stop the deck being any kind of threat.

Oh and I still don't get how the text is confusing. Makes perfect sense to me.

[s]Well there is a missing number in its text[/s]

People who're not familiar with what it does/how problem-solving text works might think it SSes a monster either way, or that it doesn't work at all unless discarded by an opponent's card effect.

This, with a slight fix based on what I think he meant to say.

From real-world experience of explaining how Dark Worlds work, I think the main problem is that people are used to reading an effect as one big sentence even though the formatting of the text splits the effect into 3 distinct parts. So people read the card "When this card is discarded by a card effect, if this is discarded by your opponent's card effect" and then are like "Wait, what?".

That missing number is a missprint, I have my Snoww right in front of me and the "1" is there.

I don't think people's inability to read through simple punctuation is really an excuse to say it's confusing. If they understood simple sentence structure, it's easy to make sense of it. You only target when discarded by an opponent's effect. If nothing was targeted (as the card even says) then nothing is special summoned. .-.

The thing about the text is, they had to put all targeting before the semicolon, so they had to mix the card text like that. It's still perfectly understandable after [s]countless[/s] a few reads.

The consistency engine of Dark Worlds, a deck that, if built correctly, runs a very small number of monsters... it'd be sad if this were limited, because I don't think the deck could fill the gap this'd produce with cards that are not monsters, then again there are nice cards that could be played in its place and are generally neglected sometimes, like Tour Guide.

The idea of limiting Broww is very... different, but I can see the reasoning behind it.

just ban Grapha

Dark Worlds are my second favorite deck since Tele-DAD format and even I can see that

Grapha @3 is the only thing keeping DWs viable.

Next you'll be saying to hit Hyperion, and Machina Fortress and Malefic Cyber End Dragon.

Yes
No
Debateable

Screw viability, if it's broke, its broke. And I would love Hyperion at 1, so that Earth can go back to 3.

It also doesn't take any brains to tell Konami won't ever hit Grapha.

Why?

Because Yugioh's always been about the boss monsters. That's been its design from the start. Ever since Summoned Skull, the focus of yugioh was the big fat pay-off in the form of the deck's boss monsters. Konami won't ever change that, so Grapha will more than likely stay. The very few occasions that have occurred where this hasn't been the case was when Chaos Sorc was hit, and Shi En with very few others. Even JD was able to come back, because Konami f***ing loves boss monsters.
