I said this is the biggest argument for banning Rabbit OVER, aka INSTEAD OF, the Zars. This is, by and large, Rabbit's biggest card to abuse after the 2 Zars, at the very least until recently. There isn't worse, because most decks don't have 1950 beaters that evolve into Lance-fetching 2550 Beaters that also happen to laugh in the face of anything that uses Synchros or 5+ monsters. It also stops Gorz and Trago. This card is a giant mess of bad design that DEFINITELY deserves to be banned... But, probably won't get banned. Granted, Rabbit's damn terrible design and deserves to be banned anyways, this is just the card that spells out that, should the Zars die, Rabbit will STILL laugh at them. Pearl exists. Lonk Posted July 28, 2012 Report Share Posted July 28, 2012 Rabbit is a part of many OCG Tournament-winning decks other than Dino Rabbit and Verz Rabbit. It also happens to be the reason why Gem-Knights are doing well in tournaments as well. Rabbit is a conduit, and hitting it will solve many more problems than hitting bosses. [/quote] Because while Rabbit is incredibly bad design, this is still damn terrible design on its own. It's a Pseudo-Kristya that resides in the extra deck and searches an Archetype-Wide Forbidden Lance. It's also bigger than anything on par with it sans Bahamut or Pearl. It does too much for too little effort in its deck. When you have a Pseudo-2450 Beater Dino, a shocker bird that never dies and comes back stronger for it, a built-in-Double-Summon Warrior, a Pseudo-CyDra, and a Pseudo-Snowman Eater, you have quite a few options to make it from. Rabbit is the main problem, yes, but it doesn't change the fact that Ophion is just absolutely terrible, careless design. At the very least, it's the type of card that wrecks playing casual. That's why Ophion exists, but he's the main thing that allows Verz to be a deck. Ophion isn't any more of a problem than Shooting Quasar Dragon, and the only problem with Quasar was the ease in which plants could summon it. Just.. A little [i]too[/i] good, mostly because Verz has a Rabbit target. So the result is that Rabbit becomes a weird Krystia that can search copies of Forbidden Lance for itself :/ Yes, Pandemic is like its only good target, but its a very powerful one at that, and can ensure Ophion will likely be problematic.
