Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Not really sure where this would go, but I recently discovered a new game type for Yu-Gi-Oh! from a video on YouTube, and it seems pretty fun to play. Based mostly on chance, but still fun, and lets you play cards you haven't seen in a long time or aren't worth anything to you anymore. The video says these are the rules: - 60 card deck both players draw from - No extra deck (Both players would be able to see it anyways, making it pretty pointless) - Deck contains no searcher cards or any other cards that may reveal the contents of the deck (this allows the creator of the deck to put random cards in the deck to contribute to the WTF factor) - Any number of any card are allowed (the featured deck contains 3 Pot of Greeds and 4 Premature Burials) - Both players start with no cards in hand - Duels are conducted in accordance to all other Official Yu-Gi-Oh rules. So then you basically put together a 60-card themeless highlander deck with amazing, crappy, and okay cards alike, ignoring the ban list. Then players take turns drawing from the same deck and use the cards they have drawn. Quite personally, I would like it if the game started with both players having at least 1 card in hand, but that's me. The game would really require 3 people to play properly: 1 to make the deck and 2 to play, but it would be fun for filler, and might be good for exercises in dueling (a little bit). What do you think? Pretty straight-forward. DO: - Make a deck with the most possible chance of interplay. - Make a deck with both good and bad cards. - Add at least 2 draw cards. - Use cards that don't quite fit without other cards, but are still playable (Exodia, - Use cards people haven't seen in a long time/rarely, if ever, use. - Play like your opponent needs a topdeck to win (because they do). - Push for advantage. Any move could come up and turn things around. DO NOT: - Use search/recruit cards. The game is funner when neither player knows the contents of the deck. - Use an Extra Deck. While it could potentially be fun, unless you can come up with a way to randomize the process, you're better off without. - Add cards that are easy to play and impossible to get around. - Add stall cards that are hard to remove (Reaper, Marshy, Level Limit Area B ) - Wait on a "winning" card. It relies on luck and how you play the crappy cards you're dealt with. For all you know, your opponent will draw the card you want. - Be a party pooper. It's a game, and you play it for fun. While there is a small amount of skill involved, it's still based mostly on luck.

I will also edit in an example deck later.

HSektor
I love custom formats and this one looks like awesome and fun. I'm gonna make a deck later. EDIT: Its going to be hard to adapt into DN. Maybe each one with your own deck?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I have learned that Sword of the Deep Seated is one of the most overpowered cards in War. Equip it to an opponent's monster with low ATK and smash through it, your opponent draws a useless card.
