Wildflame
I have to make an alternative version of my Northwemko.dek with this instead of Citadel. Pretty lulzy card, but it can have some heavy drawbacks too if you are not careful.
Love of Ghibli
northwemko lock deck so beautiful thanks to this lol and it does work wonders as a prophecy side card. Nothing helps Junon out more than keeping your opponent from dark holing her lol (though torah does the same thing)

If you name Spellcasters, then all your opponent has to do is summon a monster.

werewolfjedi
it's funny as hell to see your oppponent's face when you drop a sorcerer of dark magic on the village field. 3200ATK, no spell or traps against you, and you have everything at your fingertips.
The thing about that lock is that it's not so vulnerable to destruction like decree is (as a stand alone) but I gotta say it's not so useful. if you want to run sorcerer the best way to do it is with the spellbooks (correct me if I'm wrong but thats the impression I got). But Spellbook decks dont tend to run much traps anyway, so that wouldn't matter much, beyond the 3200 ATK body... But if you run the deck it's for fun not for competitive reasons...
really, there is a rank 6 XYZ monster that negates all traps, where, I don't see it. oh, and where is the one with more than 3200 ATK? dude. a deck with a goal works with the simple restirctions to a boss monster like this, I build a deck around it, and all the while I build up advantage, while at the same time setting up for this play, and when I do it, it ends the damn game cause people can't handle it, since, if this lockdown is my goal, OBVIOUSLY I'm also running creature effect negation. if this field is set up, straight up nothing can beat it. seriously, how are you going to get around it, when I will destroy with my spells and traps I have any caster you might have in your deck, of which I could see only a few unless your playing a caster deck, in which case I obviously side out village and the sorc, since the lockdown won't work, as any good player can plan for, and any creature effect you try I will negate. and if it doesn't get destroyed, I"m gonna run over it. this is the point of the deck build that uses him dude. it's not meta, it's not like it's gonna win a tournament because of BS the decks out there can pull, but if they couldn't stop this field getting setup, then they can't win afterwards, plain and simple. sometimes the non-optimal choice can become a game winning one. isn't that the point of boss monsters. not the easy play, but well worth the trouble? I'd love to see you win in this situation.
Blake
in village, not so much.
So, basically, if they can break your lock anyways in a situation where you may/may not have 1 of 5~ traps, you lose? That's terrible logic. Decree is completely superior and isn't a -2 and you can run 3 copies. You shouldn't even need traps, the point is to just laugh at them as they can't do anything. NExt thing you know, you'll say run D-HERO Plasma, too.
werewolfjedi
no, I'm not gonna say that cause if you playing a spell lockdown build you should set your deck up to counter monsters more. duh. plasma isn't a good play in that deck, I know this, don't think I'm an idiot for trying to make a deck that, idk, actually works off the fact that I have spells and they don't? and that if I lose my monsters, they get to play spells? SO THEN I SHOULD RUN MONSTER COUNTER MORE? and play protection effects on my monsters to counter their traps. yes, with spellbook of wisdom that's easier, but most of the counter plays I need to use to make the deck work, ARE TRAPS. plus, if I'm running a decent number of said traps, I don't auto lose when I run out of monsters from a clever counter play or something. you have to work with your deck's weaknesses, and cover them, not just say " opps my lock is broken I give up"
Blake
I give up. It's like trying to explain to Pojo people. OT: Hate the design of this card. Freely manipulating spells is stupid, even if counterable.
