So, for those who HAVE joined, I need your decks. If I don't get them by the 7th, it's a DQ.

And we still need 4 more. If we don't have them by the 7th, it'll just be twelve man.

The great thing about the "No Rules" rule is that I can bump this up without getting in trouble, even though it probably needs bumping.

And the first round begins!

Now, without further ado, your first event! Opening Fireworks! - During this round, everyone MUST draw 2 cards per normal draw! Can't start you off too harsh, eh?

That said, I ask Delano to please be slightly patient. Will not have much access tomorrow, and Badoi has yet to submit a deck, partially due to not seeing a question he asked. He should have his deck in before the 10th, or you get a BYE this round.

Let me know if/when you contact an opponent in this thread, so I can know who exerted effort! With that, good luck to all of you, and I hope you enjoy the events to come!

Alright, I have no problem with waiting.

I still don't get how Swiss works, exactly.

Winners go up, Losers go down. It's a simple record system. You start as being X-0. x = Number of wins and 0 is how many losses you currently have. Wins are irrelevant, so it's just referred to as X. Since it's the start of round 1, you have 0 losses.

You lose, you're X-1. Participants who are X-1 after round 1 will play each other in Round 2. Players who won in round 1 will play other X-0 players.

Easy, right?

So the losses tarnish my record for the entire tournament?

Joy.

Would you rather to have it as a double\single elimination? swiss is the best format to run a tourny like this. and it's not like you're the only one who loses, probably everyone will lose at some point of the tournament. you lose some, you win some, no need to be so upset about it...
