Master of Sabers
Playing WC2011 out of boredom, and had several duels with this deck. Surprisingly effective. First of all, my DS is incompatible with the Wifi I have, so I haven't updated the banlist yet. I'm using the Sept. 2010 Banlist with 1 forbidden card allowed. Second of all, this isn't supposed to be super competitive and able to win Worlds, so keep that in mind. It has 44 cards ATM, which is okay, considering it's a WC2011 game. 3x Blue Rose Dragon (plant / BRD revival) 3x Botanical Lion (1900 beater minimum, 2000 def wall is enough to survive most things in game.) 2x Dandylion (obvious.) 2x Gigantic Cephalotus (1850 beater with possibility for more) 2x GigaPlant (awesome card, can be cloggy at 3. Revival.) 1x Glow Up Bulb (obvious) 2x Lonefire Blossom (obivous) 3x Lord Poison (revival, allows me to loop with gigaplant, etc etc) 1x Spore (obvious) 3x Twilight Rose Knight (instant BRD with most of my plants. Tuner. Rarely useful attack restriction.) 1x Tytannial (grabbed via lonefire, gigaplant, blue rose dragon, lord poison...) 3x Book of Moon 1x Dark Hole 1x Harpies Feather Duster 2x Mark of the Rose 1x Monster Reborn 2x MST 2x Smashing Ground 1x Call of the Haunted 2x D-Prison 2x Fiendish Chain 1x Mirror Force 1x Solemn Judgment 2x Solemn Warning I'm almost never without a field of one of my boss monsters (Tytannial , Queen of Thorns, Gigaplant, Black Rose Dragon) because of all the different revival cards. I'd like to add in Torrential Tribute somewhere, but I don't really want to up the count to 45... Also, is there a banned card that'd make more sense than duster here? byak
wouldn't you just use Card of Safe Return as your forbidden card instead or something
Toffee.
wouldn't you just use Card of Safe Return as your forbidden card instead or something
This. With Plants, that card would be ridiculous.
Master of Sabers
I've used it to insane effect. But it feels like a Win More kind of card, seeing as every time I use it, I'm so far ahead of my opponent that if I hadn't had it, I still would have won anyways. It's an amazing card, don't get me wrong.
newhat
Cephalotus is cool but not very good. I suggest Miracle Fertilizer and maybe Reasoning.
Master of Sabers
Yeah, I agree, newhat. Cephalotus isn't the best thing in the world. But it's a lv 4 plant with the potential to get bigger (although I rarely get it's effect off). What I'm thinking right now is to neg the 2 Cephalotus and possibly a Mark of the Rose or 2, and add in 2 or so Miracle Fertilizer, and maybe a sangan to search out lonefire. When I get lonefire's effect off to summon Gigaplant, I win.
