First card, comments appreciated

So me being new, I made my first card.

Effect: When this card is Summoned, discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard. The original ATK of this card is equal to its level x500. If this card in face-up Attack Position is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you may Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position during your next Standby Phase by sending up to 3 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. This card's level increases by 1 for each card sent to the Graveyard in this way.

Comments are appreciated.

At first glance, it seems like a great, fully-balanced card. After a bit of thinking though, it is proved to be broken. Though 2000 ATK is hardly unkillable, his effect can constantly re-apply in a never-ending defensive loop that can combo with every deck that benefits from a large graveyard. It should have to be banished after use or something, maybe have a higher cost, like, say, you have to ditch a card on the field, or in the hand. It could also make you toss some Life Points if it can constanly recycle itself.

Would this be better?

Banishing from your hand would suck IMO.

These are my suggestions:

-Make it's DEF 0. That way it's more targetable by cards that want to have it back.
-Make it revive in Defense Position. That way it's own ATK boost is not gonna bother your opponent as much.
-Then, either:
A ) Give it an additional "discard 1 card" cost to prevent it being revived with no looses from you forever.
B ) Give it a specific time to revive, which means that won't be an infinite wall, but it won't need the cost like this. Something like the revive being "during your next Standby Phase", or "during the End Phase" would work.

The thing about it is, each time your monster leaves the field, it's Level goes back to 1, so it will never really go over the 2000 ATK mark, though it's an interesting card to use with "Galaxy Queen's Light" and "Give and Take", which can massively raise it's Level for a nice temporal beatstick.

So this, then?

You didn't understand me. I said that, by definition, because of the RULES, anything that gained/lost Level/Rank/ATK/DEF, looses those changes when they leave the field. Your Blue Eyes equipped with Axe of Despair won't keep having that extra 1000 ATK in the Graveyard. The last part you wrote is a bit redundant in there.

and I haven't read the comments left by other people so, there is a possibility that some of us don't share the same opinion. Don't completely change it to fit the newest commenter's taste ;D just take the info you feel is useful.

I thought about "during your next Standby Phase" because that way, you won't be able to change it to Attack Position because it was just Summoned that turn, and people would stop complaining that it's a 2000 ATK beatstick (even though 2000 isn't exactly "unreachable").

In short, take out the "When this card is sent to the Graveyard, it's Level is reduced to 1" part.
That part will happen wether it's written in there or not xD
Otherwise I love the card.
being 0 DEF makes it viable with this card:

and it having "?" ATK makes me able to finally make a Deck with:

plus all the Zombie and DARK support, and the card "One for One".

but that's just me. =P

Boosting itself by 500 ATK per Level while setting up the Grave as a cost for self-revival? No, I cannot possibly condone instant revivable beatsticks such as these with such laughable costs.

He is relatively new so, the most updated card is in his last post of this thread rather than the main post being editted.
The card is actually a bit slower now.

but setting up your Grave for Zombies doesn't give you extra advantage on itself unless you mill your limited Mezuki =0
otherwise it's just a way to be able to grab what you need from the Graveyard. More for the sake of consistency than for thoughtless pluses.
Also, Lightsworn hybrids used to be viable, it's not like this is much different, and 2000 ATK wall that won't be able to switch to Attack Position before you kill it again, and will stay in the Graveyard if you kill it by effects, is no harm to you is it?

I missed out where it is Special Summoned in Defense Position -- in which case I muse, but what about the set-ups the milling makes possible? Yes, the milling gives no extra advantage, but for the love of God, what about the wealth of fodder for future revival? What then?

hmm you have a point, I might be underestimating the setups it can make.
Though I'm iffy on wether it'll actually be a problem or not.
