Considering the fact that Wizards have a habit of putting Tormented Soul in sets where it relates to the mechanic, it works great with Ninjitsu. Same with bushido though; has an annoying name. It was just generally after I realised how well Ninjitsu goes well with Tormented Soul, and Wizard's trend of keeping Tormented Soul as a core set reprint. Chaos Pudding Posted August 5, 2012 Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 MaRo has said on his Tumblr that both Ninjutsu and Bushido went over pretty well, and that means that they're on a list somewhere of mechanics that could come back. The problem is that the mechanics themselves have names that do not play well with non-Asian themed sets. [/quote] Since MaRo often gets asked a lot of the same or similar questions he ends up repeating himself if you follow him for long periods. Its interesting that with ETB effects being a lot more common Ninjutsu has gained a bit of add bonus by letting you get extra value out of them.
