gallion15
My first set of cards submitted, so I'm rolling the dice and hope you guys like it; enjoy! When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster from either player's Graveyard, and Special Summon it. You must control a face-up "Water Serpent" monster with a different name to activate and to resolve this effect. EDIT: Now 3 stars ( 4 -> 3) Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters (excluding WATER-Type) by 500 points. When this card is destroyed: Target 1 "Water Serpent" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. New:Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters (excluding WATER-Type) by 500 points. When this card is destroyed: Target 1 "Water Serpent" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. Reduce the Level of this card by 1 for every Sea Serpent-Type monster on the field. While you control 2 or more face-up Sea Serpent- Type monsters except "Perditor", this card gains 300 ATK and DEF. New: Reduce the Level of this card while in your hand and on the field by 1 for every Sea Serpent-Type monster on the field. While you control 2 or more face-up Sea Serpent- Type monsters except "Perditor", this card gains 500 ATK and DEF. Added: 8/7/12 When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 WATER-Type monster with 1000 or less ATK from your Hand in Attack Position. Added: 8/8/12 When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Water Serpent" from your hand. This card gains 300 DEF for each WATER monster in your Graveyard. This card can only be used to equip Sea Serpent-Type monsters. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK and DEF for every EARTH-Type monster in both players' Graveyard.
Aerion Brightflame
Welcome to YCM. Hope you have fun. OT: These are pretty good for a New member, but they have room for improvements. The first card is pretty good, the special summoning effect is better with the new Atlanteans coming out. However... requiring another Water Serpent card does make it a bit worse, as hopefully you'll add more stuff to this. At the moment i don't see the effect happening much, becuase its hard to get your cards out quickly. The second: its a level 7 with technically 2500 attack. It's UP. Without a special summoning condition, its probably to hard to get out for a small gain like that. It could easily be a 2400 attack monster. I would probably go higher with the ATK, but... i'm a bit edgey about it with all the Atlanteans coming out. So, i would say just be 2400. The final part of the effect would be good, so long as you add the the archetype. The third: Do you mean reduce its level by 1 whilst its in your hand? becuase, on the field is kinda pointless. Being a level 6 with 1800 and no special summoning condition again makes it really weak. Even with the bonus 300 attack, thats still only 2100, which is what a Cyber dragon has. it could probably be a 2100 monster as it is. Since it does make itself fairly easy to summon when you have 2 sea serpents. (If the reducing level effect applies whilst in your hand). And that way it gives some beatstick properties. Still, pretty good for a new comer, and hope you add to them in future.

I thought you brought up some good points, so I edited my 2nd and 3rd card to be slightly stronger. I left the first one as is until I can think of a balanced way to allow special summons of really strong dead sea serpents. I increased the ATK of the second card to a comfy 2300/2800 (Levia-Dragon - Daedalus only has 2600). I made sure that my third card was slightly weak in the normal unaltered ATK since he could potentially be a high 2100 ATK level 3 monster ( I assumed he would be a terrible level 6 card, but a great level 4), but I agree his usefulness would've been lowered had the player only had a few sea serpents, so I boosted his effect by 200; hopefully he will be a tad' more beefy. I also added Swollen Water Serpent.
Sleepy
Welcome to Yugioh Cardmaker, and this set is pretty good. If I had to suggest something, I'd say, decrease the Level of Lesser Water Serpent to 3. That would: -Let "Deep Sea Diva" Special Summon it from the Deck. -Calculating the Level of Swolen, and Preditor's Level when Summoned with no Tributes by it's own effect, it opens up the options of using Rank 3 Xyz Monsters if needed. and making one of these guys a Tuner would open up the option of doing Synchros if needed, but that'd be derailing too much from the theme here xD anyways, pretty good. Hope its what you meant by tuner :s
