None of us get paid to do this, we do it because we semi-care. No mod cares enough to go through every thread and post, everyday, of their section (especially when you're alone), that is why the report function exist. The knowledge most of the people on this site have about the TCG is from the show (assumption.) The good players are mostly on the TCG-centered forums...except DN and from I hear, Pojo. That's a good thing AND a bad thing. Rules are good, but strictly rules are kinda unnecessary in internet forum. Why not have a "spam fest" about what is the best deck on meta? Why not have a "spam fest" about a Normal Monster and it's design, support, flavour and stuff? But at the same time, yeah, necrobumps and REAL off-topics should be locked. arkel Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Pika is a fantastic mod. I've been a member of YCM for 4 years now, and I haven't seen a mod better than her, except maybe Crab Helmet. She does a truly exceptional job of backing up her statements and clearly explaining her reasoning for everything. In regards to the actual game, she is a brilliant theorist and is one of the best 3-0 ban list supporters around. I guarantee you, if you want Pika gone, you'll never get anyone better. First, everybody is whining about mods having too much power, and being involved in everything. Then they get mad when they don't see enough of the mod (Hatcher and Myself are good examples). I can't play devil's advocate - I don't know what Hatcher does, and thus I cannot speak for her. However, from what I have seen, she does her job well. She doesn't tolerate spam posts, and doesn't treat any member differently than any other. I guess I'm not around here enough to see the issues you all are, but tbh, I've been a mod for a long time, a lot of it with Hatcher. I'm fairly certain that she does a lot more than she let's people know. The mods don't generally make it known every time they do things. I lock, delete, and edit threads all the time.
