Hoping I didn't take this one a bit too far...

You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during your opponent's End Phase by having your opponent select 1 other card in your Graveyard and returning it to the top of your Deck. Each player can only use the effect of "Glow-Up Drake" once per Duel.

You draw one of your least useful cards in your Graveyard, and then you get this back. So its very powerful. But its also quite slow, as you have to wait a turn, and your opponent has plenty of time to see it coming.

Input?

(This 5 Headed God Dragon and FuFu make me sadface... should I make it Winged-Beast or fairy type and call it something a bit different? Hopefully they will get banned so I can actually make some powerful dragon support...)

If FuFu or FGD got banned then it's fine. But right now, with that Foolish on Steroids, it's a bit better than Glow Up right now, IMO. It gets to the grave quicker and even if you have to wait a turn (which means your opponent can counter it) it still is Glow Up with more support. Making it Winged-Beast will be enough to balance it, but that's just me.

Hmm...
What would I call it, in this case, lol.

I am really really conflicted with this. On one hand you are effectively denying yourself a Draw Phase; on the other hand the Graveyard is much larger resource pool than the hand, and it is unlikely that no card thus spun is going to be completely useless in any way to you.

I'd prefer to be on the safe side and say that this design is too risky, but given Plaguespreader's precedent, you may as well take this with a huge grain of salt.

Outside of a trap card there aren't that many things I could say are totally useless to you with this being a dragon. At least as bird your opponent does have some options to screw you over. Also I don't really know how slow it is if you can dump on your turn with foolish when you open and force your opponent to give you your foolish back at that the end of their turn.

As for the name you could say Glow-Up Chick lol

I don't know. But I hate the name Drake since it reminds me of that Drake guy who made that YOLO bullcrap.

I like risky card design. It usually means the card will be played far into the future, but if you weigh it down with enough conditions it stops being bad for the game. Example: Pot of Duality.
Also, Plaguespreader IMO is one of the better made tuners. It has a fair cost (1-for-1) and it allows several creative combos because you stack your deck. This does mostly the same thing, except for the fact that your opponent gets to chose the card so there is more player-player interaction as well. Also, it isn't DARK.

Athough I am thinking of making this glow-up gale and making it wind and being done with it. Glow-up gale sounds better than glow-up bulb anyway. Always did think it should have been called "blow-up bulb."

Or that the player-base will simply become apathetic in time, paving the way for more monstrosities of similar design -- I mean, that's what happened for the last four years.

What does this have to do with anything?

Throwing risky design to an unwary player-base... that is not right. Is all I'm saying. I've been saying this before -- if one has no reason for power creep, don't.

Uh, its not power creeping on anything.
Its doing like, the opposite of power creep, on glow-up bulb.
