[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]This monster is treated as a "Ninja" monster while in your Deck and on the field. When the effects of a "Ninjitsu" card resolves, you can Special Summon this card (from the hand). During your Draw Phase: Instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase, you can add 1 "Ninjitsu" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. The effect of "Scroll Master" can only be activated once per turn. [/background]

Saw the pic, thought it might be fun to make some more Ninja support. OCG help and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always appreciated. :)

Adding "Ninja" to its name may help it since its a good option to search out, especially if your using a heavy Ninjutsu.dek, unless you don't want it to be a target for ninjutsu/ninja effects. If that is the case, then specify where it's treated as a "Ninja" monster (Deck/Grave/Banished Zone/Hand). Also, as a Level 5 that can be Special Summoned given certain conditions, a good idea would be to increase its ATK by a minimum of 100, and its DEF by 300-400 for some power structure. And now ninjas get a bit of easier access to Rank 5s.

He's very easy to bring out, and makes Super transformation a +1. But... I think he could actually lose 100 attack. If he gains 100, he's bigger than blade, which is the heavy hitter of a Ninja deck. Along with other Xyz. and at 2050 he can still run over any level 4 or lower monster that tends to get summoned. His other effect is very toolboxy, which is great for Ninjas. I find it is a good one.

Okay so I have a vote for increase ATK and a vote for decrease...I am leaning towards decrease, but increase DEF...I will wait for some other opinions... Will be changing to only being counted as a Ninja in the Grave and Deck...

Thanks everyone for the comments! Keep them coming :)

The reason I voted for an ATK increase (slightly) is because it's a decently easy monster to Summon, but needs just a bit more chance to stay on the field. Had it the ability to be SSed from the hand and I would've said to keep the ATK the way it is, since its easier to Summon Double-Attack Ninja instead of this guy (yeah 1 tribute big deal).

Okay so I think I will increase by 100 and then keep DEF the same.

I actually really like it. It's a great Ninjitsu support and very helpful. However, I must say it's a little OP'd - it should acquire a drawback in my opinion. But the effect was very creative and awesome. 7/10. BTW: where'd you get the pic???

Well you are losing your normal draw phase. Thanks for the comment. I can't remember where I got the pic. I would suggest looking on JazinKay.

Hmm, I like it. It's a much easier way to go into Number 12, without relying on Flame Armor Ninja/Earth Armor Ninja. When is it treated as a Ninja monster thought? You may want to the Speficify. Also OCG fix.

LORE:
This monster is always treated as "Ninja" monster.

I really like the idea of this card. Having the ability to add ninjitsu cards back to your hand from your graveyard is something ive always wanted to do. I've even considered trying to make trap reclamation work in the deck to achieve this goal.
I have one question though, Why not put "Ninja" in the card name? Do you only want it to be treated as a "Ninja" in the deck and in the hand so that people cant use it with senior silver ninja?

I don't honestly have all that much issue with the card. I think for what it is meant to do, it accomplishes it. Gives speed to an underpowered archetype and allows for recycling their most needed cards. My biggest concerns are with the ATK and the name. It should probably be a straight up "Ninja" monster. As for the ATK...I just find it odd and kind of want a background check behind it.

All in all, it makes Ninjas slightly more playable. I'd maybe run one in a Deck. The biggest problem I have is not with the card itself, but the archetype in general. So yeah, 8/10. Decent card, decent support, not game-making, not game-breaking.
