a noble psychomancer (+pts if you can guess the reffence(s))

I just came across the strange realization that the effect of this card can be shortened so much more by saying "Your opponent takes all Battle Damage that you would have taken from a battle involving this card."

Because of this, you don't need to give it Black Stego's effect. Well, if you change the mandatory ATK-reducing effect to work during both Battle Phases (or just drop its ATK to 1400). Then, it's an Amazoness Swords Woman that can deal 900 more damage (at the cost of 500 life points), and can revive a random wall for the turn that it dies.

"You can Special Summon this card (from your Graveyard) by Banishing 1 Xyz Monster on your side of the field with 1 or less Xyz Material Monsters and 1 card in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can pay 500 life points; increase the ATK of a monster on your opponent's side of the field by 1000 until the End Phase. Your opponent takes all Battle Damage that you would have taken from a battle involving this card. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by your opponent's card (including by battle, card effect, or by being destroyed): You can Special Summon 1 rank 4 or lower Xyz monster with 2500 or less ATK from your Graveyard. Its effect is negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase." (And the ATK of this card is changed from 2400 to 1400.)

Much easier to read, yes? And the OCG is probably not 100% correct (as Anarchist Monk Ranshin doesn't have an OCG update), but it's much better this way.

I am so impressed that people took the time out and actually read the card, attempted to decipher its meaning, make a judgement, post said judgement, AND offer suggestions. When I simply stopped at part one and skipped to part 4. Its a pryo monster so it isn't a RoTA target though the only thing I can see is Skill Drain. The complex text and wording are frivolous in the face of the one liner trap card.

Therefore you could just drop a Gemknight Pearl and get one of its material down and just swarm with these things.

i wanted the effect like to match the reffence and while its weak it can cause massive trouble even if you opponent monster is not destroyed afterwards afterwards need to throw this entire thing out i could completely rehaul the effect

but i go the unique thing not your typical common effects so im allways reworking everything thinking writting stuff down you know how many times i had to adjust the effect and or card before the 2nd post was posted 5
you can count by te other posts that anthor 5-10

I find that to be faulty logic. Maldoche as an archetype were pretty unique in their mechanic and they happen to be balanced and easily understandable. And if you want a single card example I would say tragodia (sp). Sure its a mindgame but you take damage, you SS and from then you can do one of two things. Its quite easy to understand. Your cards tend to not veer in that direction. They usually are just a series of words thrown together that if said out loud could mean something, but they tend not to because other cards exist that makes all of that pointless. I'm actually just happy that the name is legible and not some weird amalgamation of letters that don't generate a word unless its some ancient that I can't speak.

it lose 1000atk during the battle phase you need to read eff
[/quote]

And what I was saying that the 1000 ATK loss would have been negated if you Summoned this while Skill Drain was on the field. Lol, I need to read effect? You need to comprehend your own damn card.
