My fist card in....a long time

Recommended Posts

The effect is too long. If anyone could shorten it that'd be great. Not that people in this section ever comment on things, just a thought.
[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. If you control 2 or more DARK monsters with 1500 or less ATK, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned in this way: Target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard; equip that target to this card. This card gains the effects of the monsters equipped to this card by this effect. If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy the equipped monster instead. When this card is targeted by an attack while it does not have an equipped monster, destroy this card before the damage step.[/background]
"This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Normal Summoned: Target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard; equip that target to this card. That work better for you? It follows current OCG. Anyway, this card basically puts Inzektor Exa-Stag's effect alongside Heraldic King Genome Heriter. Both of which take a bit to get out. In other words, I would suggest giving it some sort of summoning conditions to slightly balance it out. It may not be entirely necessary, however, and in either case, the card is very nice.

:o

When I saw a comment by Agro within 5 minutes of posting a card, that's not what I expected to see. I'll change the OCG now, thanks. Summoning conditions I'm not sure...it could make it not worth using.

Am I missing something? Am I not supposed to post in RC?

And as far as summoning condition. You don't need to make it stupid. You could certainly make it like "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can Special Summon this card by..." and make some rather easy summoning condition. It shouldn't make it unplayable. If anything, it should make it more playable, allowing for Xyz and stuff maybe. It could probably make it more versatile.

Most of my cards you've commented on...have been total sh*t and you've said so basically. So that's kind of what I was expecting. I don't really want to add that kind of summoning condition because it's just like 98% of the summoning conditions on cards. If I can think of something a bit more creative I'll put it in.

I sound like a complete dick.

Any more opinions?
its low stats makes it balanced and only gain equip monster when its normal summon and not really searchable as well

fined by me

You can Special Summon this (from your hand) while you control a face-up level 8 or rank 8 DARK monster.
During the End Phase that this card was Special Summon, destroy 1 face-up level 8 or rank 8 DARK monster or pay 800.

fits what you are going for but also balanced

Where did the number eight come from?

Anywho as for the card I like it as a dark inverted Maha Vahlo (sp). Its a level 6 which is also nice seeing as that can lead to other hilarious shenanigans. I think a creative summoning condition would be if you controlled a certain number of monsters that had "Dark" in their name you could normal summon it. That would different and its not too difficult to pull off.

At risk of breaking the Advanced Clause, another idea would be that you cannot normal summon it unless you have a certain situation set up.
iirc from when I read that clause, you are allowed to keep commenting with shorter comments as long as your first comment in the thread meets the requirements, and as long as it does not turn into +1 post counts and obvious spam. You are fine.

OT:
Why does it mention "all monsters equipped this way"? if you can pretty much only equip 1 when it is Normal Summoned? Unless this card had another equipping effect of it's own, it does not need to mention "all monsters".

The card is overall well made. You Tribute 1 monster and equip something huge. It is a "Phantom of Chaos" that can take on continuous effects like Jinzo's so, it's not exactly revolutionary, but it's still nice.
I'd make it's ATK higher though, preferably 2000 to not make it too low, nor higher than the range of a certain Fiend-Type monster on a motorbike (which would not trigger this card's effect, but would make for a last resort).. well.... and to be honest, things with 50's in their ATK/DEF bother me a bit, but that last bit is personal rant.

It's interesting.

8 is very common among dark monsters DAD, grapha and, gorz are some examples.

This card would still be balanced if you'd make it "Once per turn, equip 1 monster" while it can be equipped with any amount of monsters.
Since its a high level with low ATK and Summoning Conditions wich make it even harder to Summon. (For me personally.. Its rare enough to have 1x 1500 ATK monster in control)

Let's dissect this statement
8 is very common among dark monsters DAD (level 7), grapha (you bring up DW in a thread about a non-discarding creature) and, gorz (level 7) are some examples.
So yeah you should fact check more before you make such statements.

Anywho on to the new card. While rescue rabbit could theoretically get the job done the obvious answer is Tour Guide from the Underworld and its magical normal summoning ability to grab sangan. Which is then instant this thing. Though that doesn't really impact the card it just provides another use for the already hated spam woman. So yeah I still like it. I wonder was your intention to make it easy to get out or to have some degree of difficulty.
