Because I know people don't like reviewing sets cuz they're lazy I sorted the cards depending on how much use they will actually get and how important they are to the archetype. This is the Diabella Set, the name is a cross between Diablo (Spanish for Devil) and Bella (Spanish for beauty or something like that), they feature these girls/witches and like many Spellcaster-Type Archetypes, their play style revolves around Spell Cards, special Spell Cards known as "Diabella Jewels". The "Diabella Jewels" activate when they are banished to activate a "Diabella" card's effect. Not only does it restock your catalysts in the form of the Jewels, but it also gets rid of anything you want to the point where it most likely cannot get back on the field, except for a few exceptions. In addition to that, it comes back to the field to wreak havoc after your opponent's next turn, preventing any chance they might have to destroy it because it is banished during that potential time interval. I like the rest of them for the most part and the idea behind the archetype's mechanics. I'm interested in seeing what Spells and Traps you would put in this Deck other than the jewels. All that's missing, really, is negation and lockdown, which isn't really suitable in a roleplay (haha, our own Duel in Death Cards, lol!). Please tell me if you can think of anything else missing. The reason being technically you cannot negate any of these effects because they r not on the field, and they are being sent from the hand to the banished zone so they automatically become OP. [/size][/color][/font][/b][b]Diabella Dragon is really OP because with the super easy SS of the Priestess and the constant recycling effect you can use with the two since priestess is a jewel not a regular Diabella. At first I was going to suggest to give Sybel's effect to Morgana so she becomes the only searcher of the Deck. But then I read Sybil's Jewel so if you wanted a "Diabella" monster you could simply search that Spell with Morgana and then activate it, getting you the monster while generating banished Jewels and thinning the Deck. Because of this, Sybel would remain underused so you might as well give her a different effect. "Dia Mundo" is confusing and I assume "Diabella Jewel Gate" was the previous name of this card. However, since it generates no hand advantage probably will remain underused as Sybel. Yeah, 500 ATK bonus COULD make a difference, but given the swarming nature of Diabellas you are better off ending with generic Synchros/Xyz or the Dragon at the end of your turn. "Diabella Obsidia": I have mixed feelings for this card: The effect is powerful but 1-time only, which is good. But attacking directly with 1900+ ATK, even once, might be too much. Granted, it is still vulnerable to Dimensional Prison, Mirror Force, etc. I was thinking in giving her instead an activation condition such as: "If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; activate one of the following effects: ..." and add a bit of ATK so she is able to defeat most Normal Summoned monsters. "Diabella Dragon": I don't think it deserves the last drawback: The monster already costs you 3 monsters and requires setup in order to banish 2+ cards. On the other hand, other Boss Monsters such as High Priestess of Prophecy or Master Hyperion have costless Summons (they can Special Summon themselves) and only require to banish 1 card to destroy 1, whereas this requires 2. I would even add a bit of ATK fitting for 3-material Synchro Monster (Loki, for instance, is a Level 10 Synchro that also requires 3 materials, and has a nice 3300 ATK).
