Kingdom Xathers
Well, it's roundabout, but Spellcasters finally have their RotA. The overall effects give your opponent a tough choice: either face down a horde of increasing growing Spellcasters, or MST it and let you grab a Spellcaster from your Deck. mido9
I think it says: Each time a "Spellbook" Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. All Spellcaster-Type monsters you control gain 100 ATK for each Spell Counter on this card. When this card with Spell Counter is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck to your Hand, whose Level is less or equal to the number of Spell Counter(s) that were on this card. Strider Tigerwolf
I see no "can only activate 1" clause. So I can drop 3 of these and have a 500 point boost OR Activate 2 (1 gets counter), then Spellbook of Secrets, search for Tower and profit from having a "draw"/recycle engine as well as my own personal RotA/Pseudo Burden of the Mighty reversed for Spellcasting beaters? -Doodle
I haven't played Spellbooks much actually, but this seems usefull, and even (very) good. Gives them 'access' to spell counters better and benefits when destroyed. I just hope they won't become a broken archetype to be added to the meta, like Konami loves doin :\
mido9
Look for more Prophecy and Spellbook cards in the upcoming Cosmo Blazer booster set, as the Prophecy continues to unfold!
Im sorta worried now when the deck already has a lot of derpy designed cards. Agro
Either let them slowly build to a ROTA while increasing monster's ATK or MST it and let them get out la Maison later.
mido9
Also i kinda dont like this card's concept. You either get a searchable solidarity-esque thing that makes your junon 2800ish that if your opponent tries to remove you go + or if you remove with junon you can just spam more copies of her. Darj
I always thought that Konami never released a ROtA for Spellcasters because of Exodia, but now with this card Exodia Decks might turn even worse: With 1 Counter you can search any limb, and with 4 the head. However, you would need to run Spellbooks and Spell Destruction to use this so that might keep it at bay.
CommanderVolt
albiet the guy was running a fairly mediocre deck. Level 1: Effect Veiler, La Pendu Level 2: Batel, Apprentice Magician Level 3: Temper, Justice Card is awesome.
Agro
s***, I almost forgot exodia. Except what exodia deck has room for spellbooks?

Agro
Well basically I can see a deck like that running The spellbook searcher, the tower, this, and if I'm missing a banishing card, alma.
Dementuo
This card seems incredibly useful. Now where's my Spellbook of Courage that gives monster effect protection?

newhat
Aside from blowing this up with your own Priestess, I don't see much use for this. I wonder if you could build some kind of Exodia Deck.
werewolfjedi
this card is wonderful. I decided to run it in a citadel tower blend deck, and this card did EVERYTHING I needed. got me over BLS with my boss drop of endymon and junon, it searched out the effect veiler that stoped my opponent's play, I heavy storm'ed myself just to fill citadel, grab a magician, citadel summon endymon, and then grab and replay star hall. then I played it, grabbed secrets, and they scooped. Love of Ghibli
After testing this card is too beautiful. Its never a waste if you need to trop a spellbook to set Temperance off. After one play it can already get you veiler, and if your opponent doesn't kill it then your monsters become beatsticks, I just love watching exemplar kill TK's. Its the perfect answer. I'm just sad now that I have no room for Fleur.
Lonk
Testing with this card has been AMAZING! It is easy to play Spellbooks, assuring that you get many Spell Counters on it, Apprentice is slightly more useful in an already useful position, and the fact that your own Scrap Dragon can set it off makes it very good. I run 2 of this though.
Mugendramon
The opponent will be forced to destroy it at some point because of the sheer ATK boost, and they'll have to -1 themselves for it. Wonderful.
No, but it solved the problem they had with getting run over by every other boss monster in the game.
