Neutrality Man
Why is it the loudest? Because you roll a six-sided die twice every turn to determine it's stats that turn!
While this card is in your hand, you may discard 2 other cards from your hand to the Graveyard and roll 1 six-sided die; apply one of the following effects: •1 or 6: Banish the discarded cards. •2 or 5: Shuffle the discarded cards into your Deck and draw 1 card. •3 or 4: Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is successfully Summoned, and during each player's Standby Phase, roll 2 six-sided dice, This card's ATK is 1000x the result of the first roll . This card's DEF is 1000x the result of the second roll.
Rate/Fix and especially comment. I can't get better without input, people! Note: this is the second version of this monster, the original only had the variable ATK/DEF ability, the IN-hand effect was spawned in a playtest session where it was impossible to ever get it out, no matter what deck it was played in. I Hate Snatch Steal
I love the fact that you playtest like I do! On topic: The summon from hand should be automatic as 2 discards is too costy to involve a 2/3 chance of an unfavorable outcome (drawing 1 doesn't make up for discarding 2), other then that its a nice gamble card. Also, don't put all the effects on new lines, your text will be easier to read that way and this is not magic the gathering use 'can' not' may'. The correct way to have undefined original ATK and DEF is to write "?" not "X000". sample undefined ATK and DEF: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fortune_Lady_Light my recommendation: You can special summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 2 cards. When this card is Summoned and during each player's Standby Phase, roll a six-sided dice twice, This card's original ATK becomes 1000 x the result of the first roll . This card's original DEF becomes 1000 x the result of the second roll. Alternativly, you could keep the in hand effect gamble based, but lower the cost to activate it or make it worth risking 2 cards, and most in hand effects that don't make the card leave the hand as part of the cost say to reveal the card and keep it revealed for a period of time so that you can't repeat the effect. Althouth that may not be needed if you need to discard other card(s). in hand effect example: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Golden_Ladybug You show promise
Hauntedflare
I think the effect should take place when it was summoned. When you summon it, you role then add att and def with it's eff. If you worked on it a little, it could become a perfect card for a dark world deck. But I like the overall idea.

It says may because I tossed a coin on which word to use since I didn't have a clue which was correct (I have official cards with both words) I didn't mention a reveal from hand because you don't reveal when you're Chaos Summoning (the 1 LIGHT + 1 DARK deal), which I likened to this effect. The idea of this card is that every single one of his effects has a dice roll to it. I may increase the chance of Special Summoning by having the Sp.Summon results absorb the reshuffle/draw's results, 1 & 6 would remain "banish the discarded cards". I thought a new line for each possibility was the correct way to do it, I'll fix that immediately.
