Zazubat
Why can't people just stick to the normal editor? This looks just egh. Anyways, I like the effect, I always hate Xyzs, so some anti support is nice. I would properly use this card if it wasn't for the fact that it was fiend, and I don't userly use fiend monsters. The picture is kinda eh, and it seems cut off. at the bottom, see the white thing? yeah, it's not pretty that's for sure. 8 Carrots out of

Simple as that. 2nd: Template I use makes it a bit annoying to line up the image properly which is why there is the white line.

Zazubat
Look at my card, now back to yours, now back to mine. Do you see the difference? It's way better, and looks way more like the original cards.

宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Well I'm sorry to say this my friend, but it looks better than this. I suggest you use YuGiCo's editor.
I'm a Yugico card maker myself and I gotta be honest, Yugico's template looks like... Balls. The only reason I use it is because Photoshop would just initiate its self destruct protocol the moment I open it. At least it's it's better than YCM's template which is basically what happens if Barney's retarded child designed card templates. OT: The effect is probably best described as a one time Effect Veiler that also stops Xyzs. But that's the tip of the iceberg. IMO, this card stands a few millimeters away to the right from the "YOU MUST USE IT OR YOUR FAMILY WILL BURN" line, meaning it will be used, just not as much as Effect Veiler. If you want to make it better, you can make it's activation akin to that of D.D Crow/Maxx C/Veiler and make it a hand trap but that will just put it in the "WTF WERE YOU SMOKING WHEN YOU MADE THIS KONAMI?!" category. So for me, the card's good as it is. Not the best thing since sliced bread but not the worst thing since sliced Hitler either.
Darj
The anti-Xyz effect is good, but I think the card doesn't have the stats to make it work: If your opponent Summons 2 monsters for an Xyz Summon attempt, this card can disable 1 of those cards (assuming you Normal Summoned this your previous turn), but chances are the other one will have enough ATK to beat Jack and get rid of the effect without losing the disabled monster (Jack specifies that is the opponent monster which must leave the field to banish both). Of course, you could Set this card and hope it will survive the following attack(s) so you get to use its effect while in DEF Position, but the problem is that 1800 is not a reliable defense anymore: Boss and Extra Deck monsters can arrive as fast as in Turn 1, and beatsticks such as Rai-Oh can beat this card as well. My suggestion would be to raise the DEF to 1900 (on par to Snowman Eater) so it will stand against Rai-Oh and other beaters, and/or give him a Summoner Monk effect: Change it to Defense Position when Normal or Flip Summoned. Darj
Then you have to state in the card that the effect remains even after Jack is gone. Otherwise it is assumed that the effect is only active while the monster is face-up on the field; this is what prevents cards such as Genex Neutron and D.D. Sprite from being awesome, for instance.
Fair enough but wouldn't the lack of "As long as you control this face-up card, the selected monster cannot attack or be used as an XYZ material, and has its effect negated" imply that it still works even if it's removed? Or am I wrong in this thinking? ?.?
