Was browsing through Cosmo Blazer and found this.
During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; this turn, you can Tribute Summon a monster with 1 less Tribute than required. You can only use the effect of "Amarylease" once per turn.
I was thinking along the lines of some Tribute decks, such as Monarchs, Ancient Gear (free Golem!), etc.

Opinions?

........... Monarchs!

.......... no, that doesn't work...

........ Steelswarm!

......... no, that doesn't either...

.......... Ancient Gears!

......... no....

..... maybe..... no.... what if.... no....

Pretty much everything that you would ever want to tribute summon, you'd be better off tribute summoning.

It's support for that Haze Beast archtype.
Except it has like no benefits from them at all.

Yeah, I noticed that, but looking at building Haze Beasts myself, I agree with you that it's next to useless for them.

Off-topic, I can personally see Haze Beast/Hieratic looking good.

I would assume its supposed to be named Amaryllis.

It's a pun. In the OCG, Tributing a monster is called Releasing.

And a Tribute Summon is called Advance Summon, hence the spell card "Sovereign of the Advance."

Pretty much the main problem with this card >___>
I mean, its effect is cool and all, but your Targets are better off actually being Tribute Summoned and/or already have support that lets it be Summoned easier.

It's this sort of witty, clever naming that earns Konami's Creative Department its peanuts.

No doubt in TCG it'll just be Tribute Flower. Peanuts not earned.
