Well, here's another random card that I made. I personally think it's quite powerful. Please don't just look, please leave some comments/suggestions/critiques below.

You can detach 1 Xyz Material from a face-up Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card cannot be used for a Synchro Summon.

My thoughts when I made this card:
Well, my inspiration for this card was Blue-Blooded Oni, but that thing can be hard to use sometimes and it's Zombie specific so here's something a lot more usable. The limitation against Synchro Summoning is due to the fact that it immediately gets dropped to the Graveyard if it is used for a Synchro Summon and you can spam a lot more easily... though you can still spam plenty with Xyz...

Hmm, I quite like it actually.

Being able to recycle monsters is wonderful and this way is great. I can see this card used in almost every deck.

However, the recycling for this is just way too OP'd.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but say you just summoned Utopia while this monster is in the grave. Activate Sylph's effect and take one Xyz material away from it. That's awesome, not bad. Thoguh, say you had more than one in the graveyard. You can use its effect again to summon another one; leaving your field with a 2500 ATK Xyz monster, and 2 Level 4 monsters - and I think you know what that means...

And in modern decks today, you can EASILY use Foolish Burial or Lightsworn stuff to send this monster immediately to the grave and constantly activating its effect.

So back to what I was saying, so now you have Utopia and another Xyz monster from overlaying the 2 Sylphs. Just for the sake of it, say you summoned another Utopia. So now you have two 2500 ATK monsters and one of them still has it's two units. Like I said, in modern decks, you'll try getting as many of these cards to the grave. SO say you had yet ANOTHER Sylph in the grave. Use the one in the grave's effect to summon itself and send that other Sylph thats being used as a xyz material. So then you have 2 Utopias and 1 Sylph. But oh wait! Now that you used that Sylph as a Xyz material and it's in the grave now, that means you can use its effect again! Then take off the last unit from Utopia and gets you 2 Utopias on the field and 2 Sylphs as well with one STILL in the grave. Then Xyz summon AGAIN to get another Utopia. So now you have THREE Utopias on the field (one of them has both units) and 1 Sylph in the grave. Use that Sylph's effect to summon itself again until you back with 2 Sylphs on the field and 3 Utopias.

If you keep following this process, you'll have 3 Utopias, 1 other level 4 Xyz, and ANOTHER Sylph! PLUS, if you really wanted to, you can overlay summon an Xyz like Shark Drake and the same constant process of bringing out Sylphs to summon heavy monsters will go on and just leave the opponent into ashes...

I can DEFINITELY see an OTK/FTK with modern build-ups today.

My suggestions:

Edit its effect! Definitely add drawbacks! Like "Only one face-up 'Wandering Sylph' can be on the field" or "You can use the effect of this card only once per duel."

It's a level 4! You can summon heavy monsters by having two level 4s on the field constantly, so I suggest making it level 2.

Give it a lower ATK. I know you'll think this is dumb, but even if you don't do Xyz summoning, having this on the field with 1200 ATK actually can inflict decent damage. The DEF is fine, but maybe you can drop the ATK to like 700.

If you don't follow the first bullet point, you should REALLY limit it down to 1.
Besides all this, I actually really like the card and the idea. If you followed my bullet point(s), then you could have a great, well-balanced and well-used card in a deck (even though its not real).

There is a card similar to this (Blue-Blooded Oni), which detaches a Material from a monster you control to revive another Zombie, including itself. They're easy to get into the Graveyard, they're easy to revive, and you can form a loop with them. Despite this they've never made a major impact. Sylph doesn't use up the Normal Summon but it's still not terribly powerful.

If you have any way to get two of these into the Graveyard, you get a free Xyz Monster, but they still won't form a Loop on their own. If you Overlay with two of them and you detach one of them for an effect (say, Lavalval Chain), you can freely revive the other, but now you have no monster to pair with it and no Materials left to detach.

The only thing I would do is decrease its ATK slightly, to 1000.

I agree with Johnhabbib, in that I like the design but it needs a tune-up. The only drawback that's needed for this card to be balanced and awesome is a clause that says "You can only activate the effect of 'Wandering Sylph' once per turn". At that point, the card is super cool and I like it. If this card were to be released it would probably become an insta-staple, and I might run 1 or 2 in my wescue wabbit deck.
