I don't like the fact that only one option is available for the poll.

Ahahhahaha...well.

I grew up watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I loved the show a lot, and me and my friends when we were little kids used to pretend that together, we were piloting a Megazord (whenever an oddball was with us, we had him become the sword or something). Also, more than anything else, I loved the Green Ranger. His unique design, the way he's always so powerful and stands out from the others, the fact that he was pretty much a villain using the heroes' powers...it was awesome. I loved seeing him in action, more than anyone else. His Godzilla-dragon zord was also epic, incomparable to any other even up to today. Well, he did get redundant after turning into the *yawn* White Ranger.

Although I did watch the Turbo movie and final episode of In Space (it was touching. Yet an epic too-early conclusion), the shows I really grew up with afterwards were Lost Galaxy, Ninja Storm, and later on Dino Thunder. The middle had lots of funny scenes with the villains which I enjoyed more than the heroes themselves, and the last had MY ORIGINAL FAVORITE POWER RANGER return. How epic is that? I also liked his super massive Bracchisaurus zord, and how his black design...fit him, more than all the other black Power Rangers. And needless to say, I liked how his original concept was reused. And by the White Ranger, no less, whose design and attitude is awesome. I liked it whenever the two interacted. Good dynamic right there.

Apart from that, I also really liked Time Force, and compared to all the others, it stands out with a more unique theme. Also the villains become a lot more sympathetic at the end of the film, compared to the others who simply become mass evil destroyed or eternally sealed away. I like the concept, moreso than space or ninjas or dinosaurs or whatever.

I've heard of an alternate universe Power Rangers series which is post-apocalyptic, involving little magic. Only technology, and some supercomputer as the villain. I don't watch the series anymore (at this age, it's embarrassing), but I think I'd like that series. Forgot what it's called though.

I don't know when I started watching it, since the show came out the year I was born, but I do recall watching the show from the beginning when I was young. By the time Ninja Storm started, I was getting too old for the show, but I still tried to watch it. It wasn't until Dino Thunder that I stopped watching, and only vaguely paid attention to the fact that new season were coming.

Merc, the series you're thinking of was RPM. See, after Dino Thunder, Bruce Kalish took over the series, and his run is generally regarded as the darkest time for the series. RPM came immediately after he left the series, and was apparently a welcome entry in the series. I saw at least the first ten episodes, and I liked what I saw of it.

AW YEAH TIME FORCE.[/spoiler]

I got the Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force video games. I never beat them, but I think I have them in storage somewhere.

I grew up with MMPR back in 1993, and watched religiously until 2007. Time Force used to be my favorite until I saw RPM. Power Rangers in Space set the bar for a great series, Lost Galaxy-Time Force met the bar, but RPM raised it higher[s] than ever before[/s]. Too bad Samurai is so below the bar, it's under Turbo and Operation Overdrive.

RPM had everything great about Power Rangers. Great characters, great humor, and amazing music. I especially love how they took subtle jabs at the Sentai it's based on by addressing the anime eyes on the Zords. I remember watching the source material in 2008, and remembering how much it sucked, then saw RPM, and it reminded me how the American series tend to have better writers.

I saw RPM earlier this year, and powered through the series in 2-3 days in-between classes. There are scenes in this show that are so macho, I grew a six-pack and close-lined a giant robot...

Okay, I'll shut up now.
