ihop
Agreed. It's a stupid topdeck and gives such an advantage when you open it.
Zauls
I had this and Venus in hand at locals today, with a CotH set. He has 2 backrow I summon Venus, he Warnings. I Call, he Warnings. I Reborn, he scoops. It was the funniest thing. Anyway, should be banned definitely but Konami don't seem to want to.
Coffee Black
hey gaiz how bout we jus use call of teh grave no 1 will stahp us!!! No but forreals this thread is pointless, everyone knows this game is worse with Reborn in it.
Canadian
I don't understand how even in older formats where this card was banned, could they think it was okay to allow it to come back. Did they think because things were faster it would be fair for both players to have this in their decks? I don't want to even imagine what the people who think this card is good for the game have to say about it....
Legendary Dragon
Answer: It's not. Most of the original cards like Raigeki were horribly imba, the fact that some of those old relics still remain to this day is quite frankly, ridiculous. Expelsword
Grabbing your opponent's monsters makes it even worse. I once had my opponent's BLS (another questionable card) solo kill them.
Master of Sabers
I like this card, simply for the fact that it's one of the only cards that was broken back then, that is still broken today. However, I'd be happier with something along these lines. - Pay 1500 life points, special summon a monster from your graveyard. If that's still too broken, add another clause, something like; -you cannot normal summon monsters this turn. -you cannot special summon other monsters this turn. -you cannot activate other spells or traps this turn. mido9
How about one level 4 or lower and you cant normal summon?
Cute Rotten Yoshika
we have coth. thats fine and represents a good middle ground in terms of summoning from the grave imo.
Canadian
Monster Reborn Spell - Normal Pay your opponent $20.00 USD to target 1 monster from either player's Graveyard: Special Summon that target. Actual costs are cool.

Not-so-Radiant Arin
Monster Reborn Spell - Normal Pay your opponent $20.00 USD to target 1 monster from either player's Graveyard: Special Summon that target. Actual costs are cool.
That can still be negated with Currency Change-*shot* OT: Especially considering most duelists f*****s don't even have $20 to spare, that actually seems like a perfectly reasonable cost. NoshpalStefan
We got it, it should be banned, but then again so should BLS and their recent obscurity, Tsukuyomi. But, Konami is Konami, so they'll just "let this one slide" as they have always done.

Aerion Brightflame
In what way should Tsukuyomi get banned? I mean... it got unbanned and I've never seen it get used once. The game has changed, and its no longer a bad thing for the game. Reborn on the other hand is one of the three cards that using it can change things to be in your favour regardless of the game state its played in. And really all of them should go. Toffee.
ITS SIMPLE. WE BAN THE [s]Batman[/s] REBORN That, or somehow Dan Green is the CEO of Konami, and likes to play Reborn the Monster.
LeguBrit
YOU CAN'T BAN BATMAN. HE'S THE BATMAN. OT: Its effect is so simple and its crazy overpowered. Ban.

EmpoleMew
The day this goes to 2 is when the game is so irreparably broken, this being at 2 has literally no impact on the game. So about 2 years.
NoshpalStefan
Tsukyomi shouldn't be banned. If anything it can go to 3...
It's a Book of Moon in Monster instead of Spell form, goes back to hand so is reusable after each turn, and even if somehow destroyed, it provides extra help for BLS/Chaos Sorcerer/DAD. The only part of the card that I saw somewhat balanced is that it wastes you a Normal Summon, but that's still 3 Pros VS One Con.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
except no one uses book of moon anymore either, so whats the point of a book of moon that not only eats up a summon but is probably gonna get popped before it can return and usually doesnt have any good targets to begin with? book of moon is also a quick-play so it at least has the option of stopping an attack or a nasty effect which this doesnt. also the problem with BLS is a problem with BLS and the fact that BLS is a stupidly powerful card isnt a reason to get rid of this, a card that now has no real use in the game.
