As said above, it's a bit much like Bad Reaction to Simochi.
Though it only is half as effective and doesn't do damage. Also, it doesn't specify who gains and who's Life is it substracted from. That said, if your opponent uses Gift Card, I guess this card would negate it and substract the Life of the player's Life Points that were being affected. While you as the owner of this card, cannot use your own GIft Card to lower your opponent's Life since it's not your opponent's effect.

Yeah, I'd say Simochi is better.
Keep working at it. It's outclassed and needs polishing, but I sort of like your ideas.
