Equip only to a Machine-Type monster. Once per turn: You can activate this effect; it permanently gains 400 ATK. (This ATK gain remains even if this card leaves the field or if the monster becomes unaffected by card effects.) If it battles an opponent's monster, that monster's effect is negated during the Battle Phase only.

Its pretty cool, since the ATK boost is permanent, regardless of the Opponent dropping Typhoon/Storm.

Add to it, the Equipped monster could run over problematic ones like Zenmain, Maestroke, [insert "invincible" monster here], etc, since the attack target loses it's effect in the Battle Phase.

Also, its artwork is badass.

Discuss.

Problem is it's incredibly specific. Compulsory is usually better for dealing with those kinds of monsters. If it was a larger boost (or had a slightly broader effect) it could be decent, or at least side-worthy. As it is it's a bit lacking for today's Meta.

Oh god don't tell me people think this is actually usable.

There will always be people who do.

OT: As far as Equip Cards go, it's a *decent* step in the right direction... still, Equips need to step up to the same level as some of the recently released Continuous Spells, which give you a buff/screw your opponent over when destroyed.

Chris if opinions means nothing then your own shouldn't matter either? You kinda flawed your own arguement from the start.

The fact remains this is one of the better Equip Spells around, despite how specific it is. Now I'm fairly sure you can't deny that. It's not great, but its not in toilet paper catagories either. So it's not going to see Meta play, that doesn't define if a card is good or not.
