I mean, it can permanently get rid of Grapha, Zenmaines, and other problem cards that stand in your way. And more often than not, the discard can help you out in most circumstances. Agro
Staple in Zeta.dek Otherwise, it's a side card, though I'd say there's probably, or rather definitely, better options.
The Hounds Of Anubis
And so does BTH and D-Prison while not being a -1. Not to mention Compulsory, TT, Solemns and Soul Taker all exist, along with Macro Cosmos and DiFi.
Miror B
It discards. Main it in Fableds.
And so does BTH and D-Prison while not being a -1.
Remember when Raigeki Break and Phoenix Wing Wind Blast were considered good though they were -1s? This has no specific timing, giving it an advantage over those. Not only that it hits copies in the Graveyard. imagine this being used on Grapha.
The Hounds Of Anubis
Phoenix Wing was considered good because it also set your opponent back a turn. Raigeki Break was bad even when some people thought it was good because it doesn't do enough for a -1.

Kazooie
I used to like it as a side card when I used Frogs. I don't even use it there anymore.
Miror B
Phoenix Wing was considered good because it also set your opponent back a turn.
Unless you're hitting a level 4 or lower I see banishing a monster as a more permanent solution than returning it to the deck.
The Hounds Of Anubis
Yes, which is why Phoenix Wing has fallen out of favour. This puts you back on advantage, which is vital to winning a lot of games. Simple as that. This is why BTH and D-Prison are so good, because they don't cost you any advantage and you can take full advantage of their effects.
D.A._Sakuyamon
Hmm...............couldn't you chain this to your own BTH & D-Prison?

D.A._Sakuyamon
Yes but what would that accomplish?
Hmm, misread the card.........sorry for my foolishness. Thought it didn't remove the monster you target. Otherwise, "if" I what I thought I read was right (which it wasn't) you could activate BTH or D-Prison wait to see if they respond and then when they don't chain this and almost permanently get rid of something. newhat

It's chainable. I side it in with D-Fissure in Spellbooks sometimes; they don't make easy Abyss Dwellers and Compulsory doesn't do very much to Atlanteans.
