The Hounds Of Anubis
More examples being Dark Hole, Book of Moon (which would probably be fine at 3, but the logic works with it too), BTH, Kristya, Earth, Stratos, the list is practically endless. 3-0 logic is just stupid. b0b3rt
Excluding cards that don't interact with themselves (Tengu, Mali, NA, etc) it's fine. Dark Hole should be at 0, Book should be at 3, Bottomless should be at 3, Kristya should be at 0, Earth should be at 3, Stratos should be at 0. And I'm not saying that badly designed cards should be at 0, I'm saying that a card isn't any less broken at 1 or 2 than it is at 3, it's just more "luck-sack". No reason to do things halfway. The Hounds Of Anubis
2 Earth means the deck isn't godly consistent but isn't inconsistent either. 1 Dark Hole (along with 1 Heavy and 1 Reborn) means you hit a critical mass of amazing staples that will generally give you the utility of one of them once per duel. 1 Stratos is searchable by E-Call and RotA and doesn't just keep getting more Stratos. BTH @2 is fair because 3 is just retarded to play against. Kristya @2 is fair because it doesn't entirely shut everything down, is hard to summon and can be made into an entirely dead card, however @3 it would be just a bit too easy to draw and games would become monotonous. b0b3rt
So in other words you completely justified my post.
I'm not seeing much in the way of actual reasoning here. "because 3 is just retarded to play against"? Really? As for Kristya - practically nobody runs at 2, but the point is that it can singlehandedly shut down games and can bring itself back to the top of the deck to be used again. It's insanely broken. The fact that it has a (moderately) difficult summoning condition doesn't eliminate that fact. p
Cute Rotten Yoshika
3-0 logic is horrendous. have you considered that maybe perhaps, as has been already stated by others, that some cards are best at numbers that arent 3 or 0? the solemn brigade being two examples of many. there are cards that are good for the game, but not at 3. also listing a bunch of cards currently at 1 that should be banned doesnt actually help prove your point at all. b0b3rt
I'm still not seeing any justification here beyond "you're wrong@!". Why would either (or both) Solemn at 3 be bad for the game? Everybody would run 3 Judgment, but I'm willing to wager that Warning would practically disappear from competitive play.

Did you seriously just ask how 3 "f*** you I say no" cards per deck are anything but good for the game?
b0b3rt
It's good for the game for several reasons: 1) It slows down the pace of the game 2) It requires skill to use properly 3) It doesn't generate card advantage by itself
Agro
"Skill" isn't implied when your first thought is "It's okay, I have more where they came from and will most likely draw it." Also why 3 MST doesn't make a format more skillful.
The Hounds Of Anubis
3 doesn't require any skill to use properly. 1 does.
