PrimeAceJohn
I know, I know - Solemns are too broken, why do we need another?! Solemns have become a great Staple over the couple years and somewhat hard to pass it - or should I say Trespass it.. Thus comes Solemn Trespass; so you could keep that BLS... http://yugico.com/user/29110-johnhabib25/card/41219-Solemn_Trespassing/165071-Solemn_Trespassing Type: Trap Trap type: Counter Card text Activate the effect of this card after your opponent activated the effect of a card that would negate the effect or destroy a card you control: pay half your Life Points and negate the activation of that card and destroy it. Only 1 "Solemn Trespassing" can be activated per turn. Please tell me what you think - hates, likes, everything...
edges
I'm pretty sure "Activate the effect of this card" could be "Activate this card". As it is, the repetitious wording (which I think had to be done given the effect) makes it slightly difficult to read. That said, it certainly fits the theme of the 'Solemn' traps, it's balanced in relation to them, and it can be used general for anti-negation in addition to stopping the Solemns. drcrisis
Worse version of Solemn Judgement, Reworded version of Dark Bribe The only reason I see this being in use is for a few cards. Torrential, Bottomless, Starlight Road, Dark Hole, Destructive spell cards. Dark bribe is better for stopping just these spells. Half LP is too much, I think this is the rewording or idea this card should have Pay 1000 Life Points: Negate the effect of a card that would Negate the summon or effect of a card and destroy it. Cards cannot be activated in a response to this card's activation.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
This card is outclassed by Counter Counter, which is in turn outclassed by 7 Tools of the Bandit, outclassed by Dark Bribe, which is outclassed by Royal Decree (although those Decks need to not run more than like 3 other Traps). Not to mention that not every time your opponent Solemns you, your card has actually hit the field. The whole design of "Negate Solemn and only Solemn" by itself makes it hardly able to be very useful, as the Solemn Brigade is only three cards. For you to have to pay half your Life Points to Solemn a Solemn, for one, you can just use Judgment yourself (but that wastes using it on something else (it's not a waste if that Solemn would screw you over)), or the new card could end up plussing you in some other way. You could take out the cost, give yourself a little reward for using this, and it would be, although the nicest of the "anti-Solemn cards", still too situational to think about maindecking. The best idea, IMO, is to make it a replica of 7 Tools that either has no cost, gives you something extra in return, or even a little bit of both. Or it could be like Bribe, but with something a bit less rewarding that Bribe's Draw 1 effect.

I've seen too many times in duels that after bringing out that 1 Sync, or 1 heavy hitter, it immediately get's Solemened. My goal was to switch up that Solemn and keep that monster you worked hard to bring out. Paying half your life points was like nothing compared to cards today. I was seeing this card be in the side deck or in the main deck for 1 since its too risky to play like 3. This card was the 'just-in-case' card. Though maybe it does need a +1 and maybe its underpowered a tad
