But the new is fine I guess. It's a lot more balanced and sensible - two things which I hate. It will give you a lot of advantage when you steal -let's say- Dark Hole and the card you discarded is Heavy Storm. I don't like the concept of it, but that's just me I guess. The card is fine. As for the second, the only argument that you've brought to the table is that badly designed cards exist and will happen sometimes. Not attacking you, just wanted to point that out. Aix Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 It's awfully situational and leaves things up to chance, which I don't like, aka, if certain conditions are met, which are common enough but really not under your control (it's a luck thing), you get a really nice effect. Thing's all up to chance and IMO, we have enough luck base in this game. The only place I would see this get run would be Herpes.dek, Mist Valley.dek or Phantom Beastcraft.dek to create some Rank 7's and the main effect is really just a bonus. (Mind you, I only just woke up) Even though I won't go as far as calling it useless, I can say that the main effect is situational and you'll need a lot of luck to make it work properly. Altαir Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 I like the second effect quite a bit, pretty balanced, but can still be advantageous in some situations... What I really don't like is how you summon it. Any feasible deck could get this out pretty well, with little investment. And then you have a Level 7 2600 monster on the field. Doesn't that sound a bit overpowered? Problem is, I honestly can't suggest a fix, because everything that I think of would probably ruin the aspect of the card.
