Just Crouton
Uhh, I'll just copy+paste from this DGz thread. During damage calculation, if your monster battles an opponent's monster with a higher ATK: Pay Life Points equal to the difference in ATK; your monster gains ATK equal to that difference +300, during damage calculation only. This is a random trap I've seen in a few Evilswarm sides in the OCG and was rather confused by its inclusion. I mean, it seems pretty lackluster at first glance. Apparently its value comes from being "a card that absolutely lets you win a battle". To elaborate: Cards like Rush Recklessly and Shrink can be activated in the Damage Step, but only before damage calculation. That means that if you really want to guarantee something's (i.e., Ophion's) survival, you can use this since it activates during damage calculation itself, even against Honest if you've got the life points for it. Unfortunately, this means that you can't use this card on your own monster if it's been Lanced/Pandemic'd. But there's a reason it's a side card. It also doesn't target - that means that if you protect your Ophion using Forbidden Dress against DW/Mermail/Fire Fist, you can use Prideful Roar to keep that Ophion alive at all costs. So I'm not really sure if this is something I'd use/side at the moment, but if we see a shift towards the OCG style metagame, this may be a card to take note of. For some reason, the art and name reminds me of 1:21 from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDuetklFtDQ Thoughts?
Airride
Interesting. OCG gives new things to surprise us all the time. It's a generic Version of Honest that needs life, but it's also vulnerable to S/T removal. It's alright, but a lot of things are better than it, unfortunately. Or perhaps fortunately. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It's also an Ophion counter. Considering no matter what they do you can make sure your monster is big enough. Though more than likely they will ram your monster with something else first.
newhat
Absolute victory is nice since you don't have to squabble, but being a Trap Card hurts. The only way Rush Recklessly will 1-for-1-kill Ophion is if it's on a 1900 monster.
