Zexal Weapon Wind-Ups

Okay, the changes I've made so far:

-3 Star Drawing

-1 Wind-Up Soldier

-1 M-X-Saber Invoker

+1 Sangan

+1 Summoner Monk (Can use the extra Instant Fusion and Wind-Up Factory as fodder)

+2 Tour Guide from the Underworld

+1 Leviair the Sea Dragon

Reason why I'm not taking out ZW - Ultimate Shield: It is an instant Leviair, but better. It's first effect says that it can special summon a banished XYZ monster.

**I am thinking about taking out 1 ZW - Tornado Bringer. I have not tested out the Tour Guide engine yet, so I will see how it goes. I don't see it going so well because I'm mainly going for rank 4 and 5 summons. I still need more suggestions, please help!

I was also going to recommend keeping Soldier. Soldier is actually pretty decent, not as flexible as Shark, but not bad at all, considering it can make either a Rank 4 or 5.

No, get rid of Ultimate Shield. It's not even remotely on the level of Leviair, since it ONLY works on one of your banished Xyz, and that rarely happens outside of bottomless.

Zenmaioh...is considerable, since it's a Wind-Up (for Factory/Shark), and offers some destruction options, but it's not really needed.

All of the stuff you guys are suggesting I remove though is causing a huge space in my deck lol. I just don't know what I could add. Right now I have:

3x Photon Thrasher

1x Sangan

2x Summoner Monk

2x Tour Guide

3x Wind-Up Magician

3x Wind-Up Rabbit

3x Wind-Up Rat

3x Wind-Up Shark

1x Wind-Up Soldier

2x ZW - Lightning Blade

2x ZW - Tornado Bringer

1x Dark Hole

1x Heavy Storm

3x Instant Fusion

1x Monster Reborn

3x Mystical Space Typhoon

1x Pot of Avarice

1x Reinforcement of the Army

3x Wind-Up Factory

**My extra deck is possibly going to get completely remodelled, but I need some more ideas for my main deck first.

What I did was I added 2 Call of the Haunted and Book of Moon, and dropped a Rabbit. This is in addition to dropping an Instant Fusion.

For Extra, I'd use:

Zenmaity

Zenmaines

Leviair

3 Utopia

1 C39

1 Shock Master

3 Leo Arms

1 Tiras

2 Fusions

1 of anything you want, but I recommend a Rank 4 with more versatility, like Maestroke or Number 50.

Lol, that's the exact same Extra Deck that I had. And AixDivadis, it was for more options with its effect, and it allows me to get out Zenmaity and Zenmaines. I need some more suggestions on the Main Deck though. Do you guys think the Tour Guide engine is worth it? That makes 9 level 3's which is not ideal for this. Also do you guys think 2 Summoner Monk is good? It can get out Utopia quickly and can use the extra Instant Fusion and Wind-Up Factory as the tribute.

I wasn't intending to imply your Extra Deck needed work. Just based on my playtesting, the setup was nearly ideal with slight flexibility (you asked about Zenmaioh).

Tour Guide is not really needed, but Sangan might be, to search the majority of the Wind-Ups. Tour Guide is excellent for instant Zenmaity, but early game, you've got plenty of options.

Summoner Monk I'm not really sold on. I never used it, although part of that is because my earlier testing had the monster count way too high, so even if it was drawn, the Spells were too valuable for combos and setup to ditch.

If you have a free Extra Deck slot, and want to keep using Instant Fusion @3, maybe add a Level 3 Fusion (or another copy of a Level 4/Level 5, based on what you seem to run to most). This will allow even more flexibility with Xyz Summons, and maybe remove the need for Tour Guide, as Instant Fusion would be able to support you drawing a lonely Rat.
