1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more LIGHT non-Tuner monsters
This card is also treated as a LIGHT monster. This card cannot be banished. When a monster(s) is banished by a card effect: This card gains 200 ATK for each of those banished monsters. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card from your hand or the top of your Deck to target 1 card in either player's Graveyard; banish that target.

If you already said "1 or more" you don't need that  part^

This card is also treated as a LIGHT monster. This card cannot be banished. When a monster(s) is banished by a card effect: This card gains 200 ATK for each banished monster.

So for example, if you use Soul Release to banish 5 monsters, he gains 1000 ATK, then if you Summon Chaos Sorcerer by banishing 2 more, he'll gain 1400 ATK, counting all banished monsters?

No, well, since I think you most likely mean it gains only for the monsters being banished at that moment and not recounting everything, scratching what I scratched above will make foolproof text.

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card from your hand or the top of your Deck to target 1 card in either player's Graveyard; banish that target.

I don't think discarding back to the Deck is actually a thing. Cards that trigger from discarding need to go to the Graveyard, where they become public knowledge and can activate, if they return to the Deck, they are not gonna trigger, and most cards that trigger when discarded say "discard to the Graveyard" anyways, so what is this part for? I think you are looking for "return 1 card from your hand to the Deck".

As for the card itself, it's a beatsticks that succeeds on what it does, so I have no complains. I am currently thinking it'd be nice if it was just a generic Synchro instead of the DARK/LIGHT Synchro Material requirements, but I probably am missing something... right?

EDITED: I just saw you don't "shuffle" the card back into the Deck, so I edited a bit up there.

Oh, and banish.

Duly noted.

You are correct on the "banished at that moment" part, but not about the Chaos Sorcerer thing, since this card's effect only applies when a monster is banished by a card effect, not as a cost.

I think you are looking for "return 1 card from your hand to the Deck", or the newer "shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck". It's not "discarding to the top of the Deck", it's "either discard from your hand OR 'discard' from the top of your Deck".  I just didn't feel like wasting space by writing "You can discard 1 card from your hand, or send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard...," and figure that what I had written would get the point across just as well.

His requirements are supposed to be "symbolic", if you will; I had originally conceived this card over a year ago back when I was in this one RP, in which Wulf, Lightsworn Beast "went rogue" and turned to Chaos, thus why the non-Tuner requirement is LIGHT.  For example, you would Synchro Summon this using Wulf, Lightsworn Beast as the non-Tuner and, say, Junk Synchron as the DARK Tuner requirement.  Of course, you could use any LIGHT monster, but I'll just leave it at that.

Yeah, but the point I was after made it, right? xD

Oh, I mistook the word "or" with "to" in there, so you can forget this point ^^"...

It'd be "send 1 card from your hand or the top of your Deck to the Graveyard" but alright.

I can respect that reason. It decreases the amount of cards/decks it can be used with, but it certainly is not necessarily a bad thing, yeah.

Awesome, the quoting mechanic works as it should again..

I still feel that "discard" instead of "send to the Graveyard" works better, since this allows his cost to bypass cards like Macro Cosmos, which would otherwise prevent him from paying his cost.

Fair enough, though if you play against Macro Cosmos users, odds are that they are not gonna need their Graveyard anyways. just saying.

I guess it's a legit reason, I guess.

A beatstick with a nice little bonus in that he can banish a card from either players graveyard. In some builds he has the ability to gain some serious attack, but he isn't really that usable outside of that. I do like the card though, and it's nice to see simple design integrated into the more complex concepts of yugioh (don't know if it's just me, but when I create a synchro that is based around banished cards, it ends up entirely overblown). Overall, I'd say it's pretty spot-on. Smack down a Banisher of the Light, and you could really make this a force to be reckoned with.
