Soldier of Atlantis

WATER/4/1800/1200/Sea Serpent/Effect

When this Card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 "Umi" Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand. When this card is Destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Levia-Dragon Daedalus" from your Deck to your Hand.

Daedalus Throne Room

Field Spell

This card is treated as "Umi". Once per turn, during either Player's turn, when a Level 4 or Lower Sea Serpent-Type Monster is Destroyed by Battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can send 1 WATER Monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Fangs of Daedalus

Trap

Target 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 800 ATK. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Send 1 WATER Monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Ocean's King - Leviathan Dragon, Daedalus

7/WATER/2600/2100/Sea Serpent/Effect

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Can only be Special Summoned(from your Hand) when you have 5 or more WATER Monsters with Different Names in your Graveyard, and cannot be Summoned by Other Ways. Once per turn, you can Discard 1 WATER Monster: Special Summon 1 Sea Serpent-Type Monster from your Graveyard. This card must remain Face-Up on the field to activate and resolve this effect.

First one seems really good, because opening with Diva + Soldier = Rank 5 + Lemuria + Soldier. It's a +1 combo that results in an Xyz. I wouldn't call it broken because of the fact that anything outstanding it does is due to existing cards that would be the problem anyways. And even then, what it does isn't too much. Seems fine.

The field seems useless, considering Lemuria is a superior "Umi" and requires battle destruction. Meanwhile, adding effect destruction seems too much for a free mill. Not sure what to do here... Even then, winmoar because water is rigged to mill.

Fangs seems really winmoar. Anything that wants to mill WATER has better, alternative methods to a Horn of the Phantom Beasts clone for milling, especially when it only hooks up to Sea Serpents. It just seems like it's not worth running it for a boost + drop that WATER already manages.

I dislike this Daedalus because Mermails are a thing. It has a similar, albeit slightly more restrictive, condition to Moulinglacia, is searchable by Dragoons, which is a problem card in and of itself but in a different manner to Diva, and is a walking REBORN if you have an Atlantean hand. At worst, it's a free-to-drop Sea Serpent Creator clone. It's just design that begs for abuse, and should really make it more restrictive/level limited/combination thereof/etc. to tone it down.

IDK, I thought that Daedalus was pretty borked. IDK, maybe have it only revive Daedalus(es) or something? But then it's sorta meh, idk.
