Card Recreation (Judas' Template) Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut

So I am testing out Judas' template, and I made this to see how it faired to the original. I think it looks pretty damn close, only problem is that the 1st edition thing isn't showing the 1st part with the st hanging in the air, but that's not really all too important. Has been fixed. I also couldn't really find that good of a image so I had to cut it out, and it don't really look all too good, but I had to work with what I had. To the left is my version, and to the right is the original (Image is not the exact same dimensions, sorry about that, I'll make one that is at some point).

Also, if you're interested, try out your own using his template: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/238263-hd-cards-over-1000-downloads-thank-you/

Perfect, except you spelled "chrononaut" wrong, and that thing about the 1st in 1st Edition.

So I did, well actually I just copied the name from the wikia, because I was too lazy to write it out, so didn't doublecheck to see if it was correct since I would assume they would spell it right on the wikia haha. I'll fix it soon.

I'm surprised you have his new Xyz template - in fact, you're probably the only one on YCM who has it (aside from him, of course).

Now, the only thing I see wrong with it is that the name isn't stretched as far as it can go - on a card with a longer name, the name should go as much towards the Attribute as it can.

Aside from that it looks good.

And just because I want to get in on the fun as well, this is what I mean:

I actually saw that when editing the new name, but was too lazy to fix it, probably not a hard fix. Oh and how did you make the 1st edition work? It didn't work for me :/

I gave it to him only for testing xD

Don't leak!1 lol jk. I'll be posting the new template soon.

I'll probably be posting mine as well, just for the hell of it - though honestly, I can't tell much of a difference between ours right now, aside from a few very subtle coloration differences xD

No, it's not a hard fix at all. Oh, and just one more thing - try to get the dimensions of the picture a little more accurate; there's a bit of white showing at the top of image border.

Don't worry, I am only keeping this to myself :D

Oh, you are using your own? They look so close it's hard to notice.

Ah I see that now, I'm still getting my head around working with photoshop, though it shouldn't be hard to fix either. I'm in class right now, so can't really fix it.

Oh, the 1st Edition - it's just a matter of combining two separate layers; one layer for the 1 Edition, and another for the "st"; it's no more than a text resize and layer adjusting.

Don't worry, I am only keeping this to myself :D

They are very close, but there are slight differences  :P

I'll mess around with it and see if I can get it to work.

Yeah, I see a few, though I also edited it so it looked like I wanted it to instead of how Judas' was when I first opened it.

Oh just noticed something, you name font seems to be a little bit lower size than the actual card, maybe it's just because the pictures are different dimensions though.

EDIT: I put up a new version, with the image, name and the 1st edition changed, is it better than before? I still find the 1st edition a little off, but I tried the best I could.

Here's my own try using my own template o.o

edit: I messed up the stats. AWKWARD

sir, we got a problem this monster is a Rank 4. The text is also not perfect, the last sentence has "involving this card." only not battles (I see you also took the text directly from the wikia, that page is wrong, it should be "would have taken"). Also, this might just be me, but the Set-ID seems too big. Man, you start to notice things, you didn't put in the little logo in the lower right, and Zextra has the wrong one (at least not the one like in the example in the first post).

The Set ID is slightly large, but your other point is being too nitpicky :p

Having each word in the exact placement of the original card can sometimes be difficult or annoying to manage, due to having to manipulate the spaces between some words to have the justified text work properly.

actually I just think it's because he didn't write the effect correctly. And yes you could say that, but by experimenting with how it looks on real cards, we can make the text look just right. I have OCD about this, as I am extreamly interested in Judas' work.

Actually, that fault lies in the specific example you're using - 1st edition and Limited Edition cards use the gold hologram instead of the regular silver one; though that's only something you would know if you played the game in real life.

Only problem is, most people will be using the template to make their own cards, and therefore will not run into the risk of typing out text the "wrong way" or with the wrong word distribution per line, since they will be original cards.

So what you're saying is that the card on the wikia is a fake? Cause that has the silver one and 1st edition. Oh, and yeah I didn't really know that, I don't play in real life, as it's too bloody expensive. Not that I would probably have noticed that in real life either way, I just play the game, but for realistic card purposes, I want it to look just right.

By no means am I calling it a fake - it's just that the holograms are indeed metallic and reflective, so when cards are scanned, the light from the scanner may reflect off the hologram, making it appear silver instead.

Strange, I probably never would have known this unless you told me, I guess I'll have to use the golden one for cards with the 1st edition/Limited Edition.

EDIT: Judas's template doesn't seem to have the golden one, so I couldn't even use it if I wanted to :/

EDIT 2: Judas, your effect text seems a little cramped on the horizontal plane.
