Northern Sage
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having exactly 5 WIND monsters in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls. You can only use this effect of "Windrose the Elemental Lord" once per turn. If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn. With that design, they could have made it a Psychic… Discuss.
~British Soul~
Yeah, I figured that they had to break the Spiritual Art pattern for the Elemental Lords' effects sooner or later, though I do think it was for the best.
Synchronized
I said before the effect was even confirmed that spinning is the most dangerous concept in the game. If they had made this have anything to do with spinning more than one card, it would've been inherently awful design.
Canopy Star - Eon Sphere
With that design, they could have made it a Psychic… Uhh, it's made of plants... OT: I've seen Gransoil used, Moulinglacia used, but neither Pyrorex nor this. Maybe it's because it's only recently been added, and I haven't played against many WIND decks, but still, Not sure that a HFD is as controversial as a Reborn or a Delinquent Duo. Perhaps that says something about the game state, or perhaps most WIND decks (*cough* Harpies *cough*) have enough S/T clearing to be getting on with. Strider Tigerwolf
The only decks that can viably run this...are Gusto, Harpies, and maybe Beast Crafts. But it's...not really...good.
Sora1499
The problem is that, by the time you can drop this bad boy, your opponent probably will have exhausted all of or most of their backrow on the monsters in the grave off of which you're summoning this, therein making him pointless other than to winmoar. There's also the point that the highest tier WIND deck, Harpies, can hardly use him, unlike Grandsoil which has Geargia and Moulin which has old Merlans.
