Photon Thrasher is strictly better than this card because it's also a level 4 light warrior but isn't as slow. Changing its name is only good in irrelevant decks and even then those irrelevant decks don't even need it. Even though it has flexibility with its level, that doesn't outweight the fact that it's still slow as shit and is useless on its own. Plus it can't even make anything better than a rank 4.

This card is awful.

I shouldn't have even needed to explain myself, it's blatantly obvious that this card is severely outclassed in general.

That's a monster, where the Trap is a Trap Monster, kind of different. Plus this requires you to have no monsters. I know that this card isn't great, but it isn't useless either, as mentioned combo with Reckless for some fun results (gain 3, plus the Trap)

And that's what makes it bad. Copy Knight is a Trap card, which means it's not searchable as Photon Trasher is, and it can't be used right after drawing it.

 

Plus this requires you to have no monsters.

Yu-Gi-Oh is no fun without people experimenting I would say, the reason I throw these pretty obscure cards here in TCG is so the game can not just become *draws BLS, wins*.

There's been a  ton of sound reasoning provided throughout the posts showing you it's bad.  Just because a card could be good, there are better options and as long as those options exist cards like this won't see play.  I'm not sitting here trying to troll for the sake of trolling, I'm saying stop trying to argue a point when you've already been given a shitton of reasons why it's bad.

I don't even see the effort in continuing this argument, but you're missing the point.  That's not my opinion; it's just a bad card.  I mean it's been proven by a ton of the posts here, I don't know what else you're asking for.  If you want to use it in a casual setting then that's fine, but continuing to try and say that it's a good card and stuff is just fighting a losing battle, especially in YCM's TCG section of all places where 98% of people will absolutely tear you apart for having an opinion that differs from everyone else anyway.

 

However, I'm not saying that.  I'm just saying it's not a good card because it's far too slow and outclassed by plenty of other things.  Play if it you so choose, but it's not good.

You're saying exactly why IT IS an opinion, and that's because there's somebody who thinks different then you, that's the meaning of the damn word! note, not the exact meaning, but the whole reason that word excists, but then again, it's a word the internet has never heard about.

There's plenty of reason why the card has it uses which some have even pointed out that I didn't know off (I simply wanted to use it for Xyzs, but there's other Trap Monsters that are more effective, and not so limited in their way of summon), and before you yet again say the same old story, it may be that it's not good for your Spellbook or Elemental deck, but that doesn't mean others can't take use of it if you play it right. It's a simply fact of making your Deck support it correctly, and if you feel that you can't use it, then don't judge others who might be able to. Either way, I'll close this thread now.
