Jeimuzu Akage
I was bored, then found these images. Card making ensued. I'd appreciate all of your feedback. I'm thinking some of them might be a little bit OP'd, but I haven't really been keeping up with yugioh lately, so I figured I'd let you be the judge of that. Thanks in advance for your positive feedback.
Sleepy
I don't think any are overpowered actually. They are weak, they cannot attack on their own, and they require destruction by battle to do their ok effects. Let's see what we have: -Burn -Mill -Discard -Heal -Search -Boss -The Burn one is ok. Makes a decent 2000 damage if you pull it all off, though it promotes the stall-burn strategy we all know and not so much like. -The mill one sounds a bit random to me. Has weak ATK, cannot be offensive, has very small one-time mill that lacks enough control on what you might mill to be considered. Milling effects either use quantity or quality, and by that I mean Quantity: Lots and lots. Quality: Letting you know what you mill. This card is outclassed by most Lightsworns that repeat the mill every turn, have extra effects, and higher stats they can use to attack. -The discarding one is.... weird. I don't know if I'm just too tired or if it actually says you are the one discarding each time...... -Healing one needs to have higher healing amounts. It's not really a popular strategy except for very few exceptions. -Search. I sort of like this guy, but at the same time, it gives the strategy the same problems that Ojama decks have with Ojama Blue... all the opponent needs to do is play defensively until they draw the one-turn-kill or something. This is actually less useful than Ojama Blue is in it's deck. It searches for 1 of 4 Slimes whose effects don't interact at all, searches only one at a time, and you can't even suicide them to get them off if your opponent doesn't want to attack. -Boss. His Level makes him not supported by the other Slimes, but still requires them to be Summoned (in a very expensive way I must say). It also has low ATK, slow burn that catters to stall/burn strategies, and is pretty much a sort of harder to Summon Cloudian. I think you could give it at least over 2000 ATK for that cost.... Overall they all have interesting concepts, they just don't really expand on any. They need something that unifies them. Some of them are worded in a way that implies that are a single strategy, but I'm not really seeing the focus. You are right though, the images kinda get along nicely. Jeimuzu Akage
Thanks for the feedback : ) Yeah, looking back, I have no idea how I thought Mire was a good idea. I had originally intended for it to be another way to get slimes into the graveyard for Dark Matter, but I definitely could have found a better way to pursue that route. On the other hand, it could at least act as a reasonable support in Dark World decks : p Regarding the rest of them...well, I guess I was just so concerned that I would make them OP'd that I ended up doing the exact opposite. I would be editing them right about now, had I actually remembered to login and save them on my Yugico account :"( One of the drawbacks of making cards at 1 AM, I guess. Since I'm far too lazy I just made these cards for practice, I'm just gonna leave them as is and use this as a learning experience ^^ Once again, thanks.
